I am very wary about investing in something that people can easily grow in their back yards (and closets) for next to nothing. I am looking for a way to short this sector, but may go long on KO.

Be fearful when others are greedy.

This, plus the same for Escobar, then go from there.

I regret not listing you and will edit my post above. Thank you for your excellent work this year.

With just one victim it will be "he said / she said". If the allegations are true, there was likely more than one victim. If another credible victim comes forward then that could be "game over."

I think that the Dems should have a platform for making the country better. There are a lot of voters who don't feel outrage about political matters, but who might turn out if there was a platform that made sense.

It sounds like Tyler Wells has great upside. Losing that much weight requires huge discipline, which should serve him well as he unlocks his full potential. I would love to see this kid surpass Kluber and think that's possible if he works hard and stays healthy.

One of my favorite features of TD is the minor league reports. This season has been the best so far, with the addition of the prospect tracking section near the end of each report. Clearly, the level of quality demonstrated in every report has taken a huge amount of work by the writers. They never "mailed it in." I think that we should all be grateful for the talent and hard work of this year's team: Codie Christie Tom Froemming SteveLien Eric R. Pleiss Ted Schwerzler Seth Stohs You guys are the best and gave us great information on a daily basis. Thank you!

Clearly he is a great human being, which is even more important than being a great baseball player. Fortunately it appears that he is both and that he will work hard to be ready for a long, successful MLB career.

Hildy needs to not throw it right down the middle of the plate.

    I posted after the pickoff.

Or pick him off at first base.

Padding is not expensive. I wish that there was more of it in MLB ballparks.

I like how Gibson thanked Austin after the third out.
  15. glunn
Great hustle by Austin there, but he was lucky not to be hurt.

His hair is a great bonus.

I really like Astudillo's approach to each at bat and his enthusiasm. Even though he is not playing today he is active in encouraging the other players.
  18. glunn
    Does Astudillo count?

This reminds me of a spring training game, but without the hope of a regular season to come.
  20. glunn
I hope Astudillo is back next year.
  21. glunn
That sounds like it might be enough.

With some insurance runs I think we might still win this.
  23. glunn
If we can get enough insurance runs then we will be in this game.
  24. glunn
Astudillo looks like a potential keeper.
  25. glunn
Because it was a lost season and he is a good teacher and role model?
