    I just posted a thread on the main forum suggesting that Astudillo play all 9 positions in a game. This would be so fun to watch that we could have the best game thread in history.

This has been a bad season that could end on an amazing note if the Twins would do this.

    Amazing catch by Astudillo -- should be a top 10 on ESPN for the year. Or at least for today. He really got up into the air for that one.

    Despite EVERYTHING that has happened there is an article on CNN today entitled "GOP sees highest favorability in seven years": https://www.cnn.com/2018/09/24/politics/republican-party-favorability/index.html The current state of affairs is beyond depressing. I continue to believe that the Democrats should have had a more coherent platform, and they will be lucky to take the House. On the other hand I continue to write checks to the DCCC and the DSCC in the hope that they can get out the vote. If the Dems can take BOTH the Senate and the House, then perhaps disaster can be averted. But my sense is that the Dems are just not adept at what politics has become.

    I was referring to non-professionals who grow for their own use and to give away to friends.

    This is a WEED. In a place with good weather (or indoors with some expertise) it's easy to grow very strong marijuana. I know people who have done so with very little effort. I agree with you about potential for companies that can turn the plant material into beverages, edibles and drugs. I am considering a position in KO for that reason.
