    That being the case, the Twins have no excuse not to be giving these guys a serious look. With the payroll having dropped, they should be able to make a competetive offer.

    Did you actually read the article. Thats the whole point. In a society where homosexuals are becoming more accepted, professional sports is one area where gays are hardly welcome.

    In terms of value, Willinham wouldn't seem to be enough to get a prospect like Teheran. But we have seen that if team is desperate enough (Philies, Blue Jays, Royals), they are willing to trade top prospects for big league help. If a team is willing to overpay for Willingham, get it done.

    Ok, so I guess what I should have said was, strictly compared to the previous list, it is somewhat respectable. Otherwise it is still very flawed.

    The Twins have finally updated their top 20 prospects list on the minor league affiliates site. In my opinion this list is much more accaptable compared to the last one that had Adrian Salcedo(7) and Angel Morales(10) too high and Kyle Gibson(15) and Max Kepler(18) too low. This list still has Morales, who isn't even a prospect anymore if you ask me, too high at #12, and Max Kepler, who could appear in some notable top 100 lists in the near future too low at #20. Aside from these two I am OK with the list. It also includes recent aquisitions Alex Myer(3), Trevor May(5) and rule 5 pick Ryan Pressly(17).

    Its a shame. Keith Law used to answer to comments in his blogs. He has said that is now a thing of past unless they go back to the old comment format.

    By the time Travis Harrison is in Fort Myers he will likely be playing 1st. Doug could help him excel at that position. BTW I don't think Sano should/will ever be moved to 1st otherwise I would say the same for him.

    I would like to give credit to KC for going for it, but I can't. They just grossly overpaid for a couple solid arms that will not likely be enough for them to contend for the playoffs. Credit the Rays for another great move, or as Keith Law puts it, "a heist".
