  1. Well, it's been a while since I've had either of them, so I guess I'm just going on instinct/faded memories.
  2. No. That's just stronger, but that doesn't make it better as it somehow tastes worse.
  3. In my opinion, that is possibly one of your best works. Bravo, sir. Bravo.
  4. The combination of that picture and all the trailer park boys references leads to this: http://www.quickmeme.com/img/75/75a7153b9be79d0ce1a61097a220eb794dce90ff4295fd47e0d5099dd3e699a1.jpg
  5. It's ok as long as they don't bring any of those samsquanches with them.
  6. Well, I personally am hoping they get a game in tonight. I have tickets in the homerun porch. I try to make it to a least one of the games when Canada comes to town. Plus it's fun to meet up with the entire city of Thunder Bay, which seems to invade Minneapolis for this series.
  7. Correct. They don't have the slot money for a round 2 selection. Bonus pool money is based on the picks that a team actually has, not what they would have had before forfeiting picks.
  8. Zach Granite is a great name as well. Seems like he should be a linebacker with a name like that.
  9. Considering the circumstances (such as the Twins not really getting any hits after the 4th inning), I was ok with Molitor not bringing Perkins out. But, in this case, Molitor had already used up most of the bullpen. J.R. Graham was showing some good stuff last night though. He got through those three innings with 33 pitches. It was pretty obvious in the 10th that the Pirates were going to have problems getting anything good to hit off of him. And since Graham has experience as a starter in the minors, it wasn't bad to let him go a few innings in case the game went even longer. Last night's game wasn't a great example of how to manage a bullpen, but it worked this time. I can't say that next time they use the pen that way will have the same result though.
  10. That is true. The aquarium is great, as is Giordano's. Although there will be a Giordano's in Minneapolis in the near future. Hopefully it's just as good as the original.
  11. It's too bad you're not getting a little more time in. I personally really enjoy the Field Museum and the Art Institute of Chicago. The Museum of Science and Industry is also very cool. Then again, I've only been to Chicago a few times, but those are places I have been and would go again. As for Wrigley, I've only been there once, and I had a decent time. I enjoyed the history of the park, but the game watching experience was just ok in my mind. But, I'm sure that it's going to be a fun experience for you and your kid. I wish I could recommend more to do around the stadium, but from what I remember, there were a lot of bars around the stadium, which probably isn't much help.
  12. Yeah, it's great to see him put some things together so far this year. I've been a big fan of him since they signed him as well. Very interesting prospect. I'm not sure that he ends up playing on the team before September. It would probably take a few injuries for that to happen, but I guess it could be possible. I can't imagine that he keeps this pace up, but if continues to hit decently and keeps showing some power, I could definitely see him earning a September call up. If that is the case, he'd have his first taste of the big league at the age of 22! Not too shabby.
  13. It's a good article. I agree, the Twins seem to be outperforming what the numbers show. I have a feeling it will correct itself, but somehow I could see the Twins staying around and outperforming the numbers. Like the author says, record is really the only thing that matters at the end of the day. I'm just enjoying the ride while the team is playing decent baseball.
  14. It was the mob coming for the Twins pitching staff... at least those that pitched today. I had to vent my frustration.
  15. Digging deep to find that silver lining. I like it.
  16. Another home run... http://assets0.ordienetworks.com/images/user_photos/1098190/GOP_Lynch_Mob_fullsize.jpg?6b7af3dd
