I have an idea this happens to be the thread I was on when I had it. If it's considered hijacking, let me know and I'd be glad to move it. [Moderator's note: I did move this into its own thread in the About Twins Daily portion of the site.] I just "liked": someone's post, and as you know it now says "This user likes _____'s post and wants to buy him/her a steak dinner." To be honest, I did like the post, but I don't really want to buy him/her a steak dinner. I really think a beer (or a soft drink for those who prefer that) would be more appropriate. It's more social and it's more of a "like" kind of thing. A steak dinner is more than that. We have lots of "like" posts here, but hardly any true "steak dinner" posts. (Sorry, gocgo, but that was a beer like, not a steak dinner like.) So here is my suggestion: Sponsored "likes". Instead of "This user likes _____'s post and wants to buy him/her a steak dinner" it could say "This user likes _____'s post and wants to buy him/her a beer at Freehouse" (to use the latest sponsor as an example.) That would be much more accurate (if I wasn't stuck here in Oklahoma, I would in fact like to buy him/her a beer at Freehouse, and that photo of the beer on the Freehouse link looks awfully good) and it could possibly even generate some revenue for the site.
