  1. Well, formal black is not the same as sparkly, fringy black
  2. He’s never been a great fielder. One of the biggest reasons they moved him off SS. But he got it, despite the fumble. And I think it was mentioned that the grass is a little wet?
  3. Depends on how loud it is. I face away from Soldier Field, so don’t know yet. When Guns n Roses played there, I heard every song. Couldn’t make out the words, but that didn’t matter, I knew the songs. Like my own karaoke machine! Lol
  4. I don’t have enough sparkly, fringy clothing to wear. I’ll never fit in.
  5. I know I won’t be going anywhere this weekend. Between traffic and Swifties, I’m landlocked
  6. They can’t until someone goes on the injured list. Or they have to wait … 10 days I think?
  7. I don’t think he should even try. Too dangerous.
  8. I’m in the middle of ground zero of a Taylor Swift concert happening here. It’s madness out there! And lots of sparkly-dressed girls and young women! And the bike taxis running everyone over on the sidewalks. Madness, I say, MADNESS! But I’m safe inside watching the Twins game tonight … at least I hope I’m safe! 🙂
  9. I don’t know. It’s a question for Chief.
  10. While I want to see Buck in the outfield, and hope he's out there at some point this season, I think using the example of being hit in the rib cage to show how he's somehow not tough enough is a very bad example. Not having him in the outfield, now, that's where I'd agree with you. But we don't know personally how anyone deals with injury ... and everyone is different ... generalizing is really not a good way to go. imho.
  11. There are others I'd put on this list over some that are on this list. Typical.
  12. I agree with the concerns about Lopez, but this implication is off, to me. Do you really think he’s not working and just sluffing off because he signed a new contract? It’s a nice contract, and I’m not sure what’s happening with him, but doubtful he’s just off somewhere enjoying it and not working hard. I hope he can get back to how he started the season.
  13. I’m sorry, but intentionally throwing at and hitting someone is just plain stupid. At the speed pitchers throw these days, injury isn’t the only concern.
  14. Then I call BS to your whole premise on this. It wasn’t intentional. Pitchers sometimes hit batters, especially when trying to throw as hard as they can. And retaliation should never be a thing.
  15. I’m not even sure he meant to pitch inside. He didn’t have good control for sure, but no way was it intentional.
  16. I have to call a no way on that. It was not at all intentional. Look at the video and watch the pitcher’s reaction. That is not the reaction of someone who wanted to hit anyone.
  17. There we go! Glad the game thread didn’t pass without one of those! 🙂
  18. That, to me, distinguishes a winning team ... coming back to win
  19. Okay ... that was a great time to tune in ... lol ... at work ... saw some, missed most, tuned back in right here. BLIZZARDS FOR ALL!!!!!
  20. Hey! That's my line! You stole my line! 😉
  21. Pretty much what Van posted but a little more info
