  1. Gibby made it through 5 ... is that the longest a starter has gone so far in ST?
  2. Yes. HitInPitch ... I'm disappointed in you for not answering 'correctly.'
  3. Well, to be fair ... who ever does anything for poor, less-educated whites? Republican policies do NOTHING for them, and actually makes them worse off; candidates spouting platitudes and lying to them to make them believe someone is listening isn't doing anything for them, either.
  4. As if on cue! Thanks! I consider you TD's expert in residence for these types of discussion!
  5. Well, I guess you and I have had different injuries and different recovery/rehab and different doctors monitoring how different motion activities affect us.
  6. It's spring, though. They need to give Buxton a day off here and there, and I think they need to see Stubbs all over the outfield to get a handle on potential contribution there, so, they throw it out there in ST and see how it plays. But yeah, I'm still with you there.
  7. Right. Why I'm hoping heazy will jump in with some perspective. Sometimes **** just happens.
  8. Well, of course in due time, but that's not what you said. And all my point was, that even those types of activities will be monitored and could be limited in any kind of post-surgery/rehab phase.
  9. My point is ... repetive motion stress is a consideration in recovery ... as one who is dealing and has dealt with various hand, arm, elbow, shoulder issues, I can attest to how the simplest of activities can exacerbate any issue ... from continued video game play, to smart phone and ipad use, to sitting at a desk all day long, extended computer use, etc. We are all different and our bodies handle any kind of various physical activity, even of the passive kind, differently. It's a matter of being aware of response.
  10. Uh, maybe not if any kind of surgery and/or therapy doesn't involve repetitive motion stress risks.
  11. If I lived there, or close enough, I'd be in on it, too. Especially if I lived an hour or two away. You don't have to worry about weather so much as you can make your decision to make the drive (or not) depending on how the weather looks. And, hopefully, will be able to find a seat somewhere.
  12. I tend to agree. Wonder if Heazy is around and can give us an expert opinion and perspective on this. But I've never seen any kind of correlation in this unless mentally it forced him to do something differently. Difficult to know for sure, so yeah, I do tend to agree.
  13. I don't follow it closely, but I did notice it started and I will click into stories here and there. I always feel sorry for the dogs even though I know they are especially bred and trained for this ... I still feel sorry for them working so hard in extreme conditions.
  14. Van, you are going to have it tough today with whiners ... me included ... I mean ... Trevor <sob> May!! waaaaaaaaaa! Okay, so maybe no so much whining as outright sobbing. I mean, why???? A big existential and rhetorical WHY??????
  15. Okay ... woohoo ... televised and radio-ized! Well, not by the MLB network, but if you have the MLB package you can tune in (if out of FSNO viewing or 96.3 listening area). But, well ... not trying to take the excitement out of baseball ... Trevor May. No words, just tears. <reallysadface> Umpires today: Rehak (H), Culbreth (1B), Hudson (2B), Blakney (3B) Weather: 77 deg F, sunny, winds at 10mph from R to L Lineups: REDSOX Marco Hernandez 2B Chris Young LF Andrew Benintendi DH Sam Travis 1B Jackie Bradley Jr. CF Bryce Brentz RF Rafael Devers 3B Christian Vazquez C Deven Marrero SS Henry Owens, P TWINS Brian Dozier 2B Joe Mauer 1B Miguel Sano 3B ByungHo Park DH Drew Stubbs LF Robbie Grossman RF Jorge Polanco SS Jason Castro C Danny Santana CF Kyle Gibson, P Play ball!
  16. Please continue here: http://twinsdaily.com/topic/25172-article-mri-reveals-torn-ucl-for-trevor-may/ Thanks.
  17. I'd be curious if any of these were an issue if the time between innings and half innings was cut to half. Limit the number of commercials shown and see what you get.
  18. Probably will be announced after the game?
  19. I get the comparison you are making, but putting Trump and Carter in any kind of comparative sentence is really a disservice to Carter who is an admirable human being.
  20. I don't know, Chief ... I think you need to take one of those DNA tests and find out who among us are your cousins.
  21. I'm good with that. Excellent response. Very tactfully political.
