    Yep ... Chicagoland is wet today and tonight ... made it home just as a new wave started pouring down.

    This particular story goes before that, though. He went undrafted. What scout saw him playing for the Utica Unicorns and convinced the Twins to sign him? What did they see? Were they just looking for filler or did they see 'that' potential? I'd like to read that scouting report. But after that, it was about giving him the ball. And they did.

    Maddon won’t get fired. His contract is up and it’s likely it won’t be renewed.

    It's not a coincidence that this team was constructed as it was given the nature of the ball. If they 'unjuice' it, you'll probably see more of what you are missing in the game is it is this year.

    A couple of them may still have something prove if they are on the bubble of making the post-season roster ... although I'm not sure who ... Wade or Cave? Will Astudillo make it? Things like that ... I think there are still some decisions being made.

    MLB channel has good coverage. Was able to see some of the coverage. They ended their segment following Romo running around the field at Tiger Stadium. Lol.
