    One of my complaints about the city is the tourists who drive and don't know where the heck they are going. Noticing a few MN plates here today among this group. Hint ... get that vehicle parked, now, and take public transit!

    I think some posters are just trying to examine all sides of this, exploring every possibility despite the probability, or improbability. I don't think this necessarily means they are defending anything, just trying to sort through everything.

    This was before that, before testing. He wasn't caught, but he admitted to it after his career was done

    There was someone else ... earlier ... who admitted to using well after, and took a roster spot from someone else. I can't remember who it was but it was a pitcher. Maybe in the 90s or earlier in the 2000s? It was before testing in the 'turn a blind eye' era.

    Fryer isn't on the 40-man. The fact that they didn't make moves to put Fryer on the 40-man would indicate to me that Pinto's time in AAA won't be for long. But who knows.

    Actually, not to get way off topic and pat myself in the back, but I called it on Gibson last year. I had a nice discussion with stringer about it while at a ST game, as a matter of fact.

    I'm not so sure about the cheap sunglasses, though ... Hate watching all the sun and warm weather when I'm stuck up here in this mess ... But love the report.

    I returned from The Fort last Sunday. It was my 15th ST in a row completed. Unfortunately, due to family obligations, I can't spend every day there, but I managed 2 games and 2 mornings of watching 'stuff.' Mostly what I tell everyone and anyone, ST is just one of those 'must dos' in life. Watching the former, current and someday come together in one place is something special. Oh, and get the fried cheese curds to go with the beer!

    It only means that there were too many starting pitchers playing games that first week and only pitching 2-3 innings and everyone needed to get in some regular work that that's just how it worked out. Even going forward it might not mean that much until starters are consistently going 4-5 innings. Then we'll see. Last year I was right in my prediction with Gibson. This year I just really have no idea. Before games were starting I would've given May the best shot but I really think it could go a number of directions. But I'm preparing myself for May and Meyer starting in AAA, and that makes me a little frustrated. Something has to give (ie a trade).
