  1. Do you know what a pain that is while playing sports?
  2. Please stick to the topic ... this is not about Bill Smith but Falvey and Levine. If you want to do an over all compare and contrast, please start a new thread, but stick to the topic that cHawk started.
  3. I wasn't making that point, either ...
  4. He's on a rehab assignment, which is a bit different than a minor leaguer trying to prove himself ready for the next level of play. Maybe he's not playing at 100% yet. Do you think they are just keeping him there because ... why, exactly? Just because he's playing, doesn't mean he's ready. He's rehabbing. I don't know the extent to his play in St. Paul, nor do I know the extent of his medical reports. If you do, please enlighten us all. But I hope he's with the Twins soon.
  5. None ... ask a bassist in the Berlin Philharmonic
  6. Orchestration was actually one of the most fun classes I took ... but I never honed those skills beyond. And I enjoyed my Counterpoint class as well ... writing 2 and 3-part counterpoint ditties for my final ... good times. Now I'm just relegated to bowing, proofreading and repaginating music so it's actually playable
  7. I wanted to give you a 'wtf bro' for that, but it was too funny
  8. okay ... well ... now the other work I've put off, because ugh ... is now looking preferable ...
  9. This is actually making me WANT to do work, on a Sunday ...
  10. Then you are really throwing caution to the wind watching this ... take care ...
  11. I'm not sure it's Rocco's choice who gets released, but pretty much ... yeah
  12. Hope you aren't showing signs of a heart attack
  13. Oh, well, then that makes sense why Dobnak came in ... substituting forearm tightness with a torn fingernail. makes total sense
  14. Why not? We put Dobnak in there when we did ... why not Shoemaker, too
  15. I'm sorry ... but please read our comment policy about respect. No one here thinks Dobnak is doing well ... no one ... no one is under any illusion that he is anything but what he is ... but calling him worthless is disrespectful ... and I'm saying this as a moderator on this site. Frustrating? Absolutely. He will be sent down, me thinks, after the game. But watch the disrespect
  16. Never said there wasn't ... just find it interesting that no one was here for the beginning of the game ... and very few posting about last night's game ... then show up the minute they did today... misery loves company is all
  17. heh ... well ... no problem, I just find it very interesting that posters wait until things get lopsided before showing up spewing
  18. While no one is under the illusion that Dobnak is or will be anyone's ace, be a bit more respectful than calling him worthless
  19. oh suuuuure ... now ya'll show up
  20. What's on my mind you say? Enough.

  21. One thing I've learned in my old age ... I know the answers to very little ... and I'm not going to spend my time pretending I know better
  22. Woohoo! .... and the lead is now cut to 4 ... we are charging back!
  23. I have work to do, I should be doing it ... but who wants to bow a Haydn symphony when I can watch this?
  24. eh ... why not? Maybe giving him one last opportunity before sending him down when Maeda comes up ... unless that switch already happened?
