    I guess I should qualify what I meant ... that isn't going to happen today. He's not going to be called up and supplant Urshela on day 1 and become the regular starter. I think at most he would split time there, though. I still don't think he will supplant him completely. But time will tell.

    LOVE Hamilton! Will get to work with Leslie Odom, Jr this summer ... so excited! OH!!! Maybe the Twins will do a Hamilton night???? That would be so cool! If cousin would come on board

    I think he's played there more in the minors than Arraez did. Not really sure what else you expect. Again, he will only sit, then. He's got experience at all three bases and he will likely play 2 of them with the Twins. It's a very good position for him and he will get playing time that way. Edit: Stringer got the numbers for us, and yeah, I agree with stringer ...

    He played 3rd last night. He has played 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the minors, albeit 3rd most often and 1st least often. He himself says he likes 2nd base the best. Urshela is a better defender at 3rd. Miranda isn't going to supplant Urshela and be the starter. So ... the choice is to have him sit and only play 3rd when you give Urshela a day off at 3rd. That isn't ideal either. His role is going to be to split time at 1st with Arraez and to fill in at 3rd. If you only want him to play 3rd, then he sits or stays in St. Paul.

    IF Maeda pitches for us this year, my guess would be in a BP role. I can’t imagine him coming back right away in a starting role as he will have to work up to that

    I bought one of those goat things at Barnes and Noble today ... let me tell you ... they are worth every. penny. But I won't post any photos here unless we need to rally

    He also plays 2B, and said in an interview that it was his favorite base, but, that really is meaningless

    I really hope not. Someone never having taken one at bat or played one game in the majors is not goin to immediately supplant anyone. Urshela is a better defender from what I can tell. And we have plenty of people to man OF, even with Garlick out. But, Miranda will get time at all the bases. Gordon will backup SS and OF. This is just my guess.

    He will also backup 1st and 2nd, although I would think Gordon would get playing time at 2nd before Miranda, but who knows

    Yup ... he's gotta learn to get himself out of it ... was the perfect opportunity to get him into the game, and I'm glad they let him just do it
