Another year of bad offensive line play already showing itself. 2 turnovers already. Haven’t had a good o line since 2009. And Antoine Winfield jr doing it to add insult to injury
Duran used to be must see television. A bright spot in a sea of nothingness. And by used to I mean a couple months ago. Now he’s just as unreliable as all the others.
I would like to know our record when the starter gets pulled after the 5th. Not picking on the decision tonight but we have so many bad arms, chances are one or two are going to have a bad night when you’ve got to fill 12 outs
There isn’t a single reliever I trust in the entire bullpen. I’ll count half for duran. That’s it. God bless, good luck winning a playoff game with that bullpen makeup. Lopez or Gray will have to throw 8+ to conceivably win any possible playoff game. “Built for October” my behind
I agree but it would be unfathomable for the twins to approach things like they’ve got the division sewn up. Plenty of games left directly against Cleveland. Haven’t even played Texas yet. 5 game lead, we’ve had plenty of longish losing streaks this season. This thing ain’t nearly close to over
I assume that ober was getting 5 inning regardless tonight? The way it all unfolded, I had terrible flashbacks to last season, needing 12 outs from our bullpen. Giving away far too many winnable games lately.
He really has faltered a good bit when given the chance to go deeper into games. Last year I was with him because he was pulled early a lot. But he just has trouble avoiding the meltdown multi run inning the later he goes. Unfortunately those seem to be the games that the offense doesn’t give support.
Not disagreeing with the assessment, just saying that going into a season knowing that 2/5’s of your rotation will be unable to pitch effectively into August is probably not a great recipe for success
