FWIW I'm pretty sure when people say corrupt umpires and refs they mean professional sports. Are you a professional umpire (which would be pretty cool and I'd have questions for you)?

    Question for you thumbs downers: Did the (clearly) bad call change Max's AB? Did it change the Twins' chance of scoring that inning?

    You're losing me man. Difference between minors and majors is hitters in majors have phenomenal eyes. The really good ones also have good plate discipline. Most mlb hitters will tell you: a) they probably get ONE pitch to drive per AB b) it's easier to hit ahead of the count

    Did you ever play baseball? It hit him because he was guessing inside fastball and guessed wrong. If shifty calls aren't made earlier it's a different AB.
