    If he sucks and hits that option your stuck with him another year. I would have done 2 years plus the option at what he took.

    This deal would have been bad for the Twins. It is $10M this year, not prorated. $16M next 2 plus a club/vesting option in 2022. Yikes.

    Really wasn't much to the trip other than the 2 games. Was last minute, as I decided last week to do it. Drove down Tuesday morning and came back after the Wednesday game. Squeezed in the Negro League Museum and ate at Arthur Bryant's since it was a few blocks away before the game yesterday. Royals staff and fans were very kind. Only heckling over the 2 games was the reversed call on the ball down the 3B line Tuesday night. And that was all misdirected at the 3B ump. Tuesday I had quite a few Twins fans around me. Wednesday not so much but a few. Love the stadium. If you ever go stay at the Sheridan across the street.
