    I see the potential of a career rebirth as a reliever. Greg Swindell had a good career as a SP and then ran into struggles for a few years. Then he signed with the Twins and moved to the bullpen and revitalized his career. Might be Harden's best shot.

    I agree with this. It is a better option than having someone who should get consistent playing time and I'll use Hermann as the example here, sitting on the bench getting maybe 2 or 3 at bats over a week. Also, it gives Gardy an extra reliever in a blowout. Then again, he strikes out too many hitters.

    I can see something similar to what Tom Kelly did by getting the team turned around, then announcing his retirement.
