  1. When it becomes time to make the Plouffe vs. Sano decision, I have all the confidence in the world, that our favorite team will be up to the task.
  2. No they wouldn't. Most teams can develop their own AAAA players. Having so many top prospects that it's hard to envision a future role for all of them is a great problem to have. I'm guessing the folks at One Twins Way are not losing any sleep over it.
  3. Mike, who exactly is saying this? Do you really believe King Theo, Brad Pitt etc., don't make the final decisions?
  4. Yeah, either that or become a solid major leaguer.
  5. 10 games over .500 at this point in the season, I can't think of anything that's urgent. It would be nice to address DH, and RP's for that matter, but I can wait until the FO is ready to make their move. It's a long season and we are going to continue to see a lot of roster changes.
  6. I agree with Molly, it's time to win now. I really can't think of anyone who is going to have their development hurt long term by winning. The TR rebuild is showing it's first signs of successs, and it makes little sense to think exclusively long term, when so many of our top prospects are close to filtering their way to Target Field.
  7. It's a long season.
  8. Yeah, I feel their pain.
  9. And Pinto can't beat him out.
  10. Our favorite team is attempting to salvage a once top prospect who has lost his luster. While doing so, they have remained in contention with admitted placeholders in CF. What's the down side?
  11. The burn rate on starting pitching prospects is very high. We currently have little need for his services, so continue handing him the ball in Rochester until someone beats him out or he forces his way to Target Field. This rebuild was at no time ever dependent on Meyer.
  12. I would be very surprised if Pelfrey isn't traded at some point in time for a worthwhile prospect. After 3 games and 13 innings, it's too early to panic on Nolasco. Let's see if he's healthy and take it from there.
  13. When Buxton takes over CF and bats lead-off, and Santana helps anchor the rotation, I think we become a .500 team. We probably need to wait for Sano to become legitimate contenders.
  14. There are lies, damn lies, and statistics.
  15. I don't disagree with you because you're probably right, but don't you think our favorite team will purchase some additional space, so we can sign the usual 20 or so? Several of the heavy hitters are already handicapped.
  16. I have no idea why it matters. Would you bring up Polanco for a couple of days? We replaced our 25th man with another 25th man. Our chances to finish close to .500 have not diminished, nor our desire to contend in 2016.
  17. I can't see sending Arcia down, but I can see him spending more time as the DH. What I saw with the move, is Molly is looking for better defense and base running.
  18. I've watched Molly since the State Legion Tournament thru his days at the "U". It's his team now, let him run it.
  19. If he continues on a tear, I think we will see him before Hicks.
  20. If Molly says he's ready for a cup of coffee at The Show, it's good enough for me.
  21. That's exactly what many of us were hoping for. It makes little sense to complain we move our prospects too slowly, then complain when they do. It should come as no surprise Rosario made it to Target Field this season.
  22. I know I haven't. I learned at an early age, prospects struggle and prospects fail. Why would it be any different with our favorite team? Who is Danny Ortiz?
  23. Anyway you provide us with some math and science on this?
