    Actually he wasn't. His first 2 AAA starts in July were rough and Duffey ended up beating him out. Great move by our favorite team bringing up the most ready pitcher to help during the hunt. I have no reason to believe if it came down to Berrios or Duffey this season, Berrios will win.

    What exactly is all this we are doing? Our favorite team appears to have little confidence Sano can play 3rd in The Show. There is a myth floating around that the team is being built around Plouffe, but it's just another TD myth.

    Who replaces Plouffe at 3B when he has days off isn't going to decide the season. How well Berrios pitches may. Bring him up when he's ready.

    There is no system issue. We are producing as many players as any team.

    No. We needed to address catcher. We cut the 2nd string, 3rd string, and 4th string. We brought in a young, healthy catcher who will start as a backup, and we also brought in a 3rd string. It had nothing to do with Plouffe.

    Chief, I recall your saying our favorite teams success in TR's first run was due to the Central being weak. Did I hear wrong?

    No doubt Molly and staff worked with him and no way he can play 3B in The Show. Out of 80 games last season he played 8-10 at 3B? Alex Gordon, Cuddyer, Lonnie someone for the Indians, same deal with them. No need to gamble the season by sitting back and watching him put up 20-25 errors before making a move.

    When TR came back he was viewed as a messiah. He has the total support of the local paying fans.

    No. Our favorite team scouted every player who has ever worn a cup and chose Murphy as our catcher of the future. The last catcher TR signed made the All Star team.

    Both TR and King Theo rebuilt their respective teams in less than 4 years and neither has announced a youth movement. Both have bigger fish to fry.

    A GM who was twice Baseball Executive of the Year can do both at the same time, and also find a catcher of the future.

    Pressly and Meyer. No doubt we will be somewhere in the middle this season with the bullpen and take the leap in 2017. Not just any organization can completely rebuild a mid-market team in less than 4 years and still have a pipeline which is crowded at the top.

    Depth and competition is a good thing. Arcia and Vargas disappointed last season. Should TR have gambled the season by counting on them again? Remember, it only cost us money right?
