    Meyer has pitched 4 times in The Show in the past 2 seasons, each time he pitched poorly. Speaking about using options wisely, good thing he wasn't brought up in 2014 when the fan board was screaming for him. If I'm not mistaken, he can still pitch poorly next season, and we don't have to Arcia him until 2018.

    Chargois was already called up this season, as was Alex Meyer. Both crapped the bed.

    Our favorite team is trying to win games, not have the youngest team in baseball.

    He also has a team friendly contract, 3 options left, and is second on the team in HR's. Classic low risk/high reward pick up.

    We already have a bad team. The future is Sano and Buxton, not Polanco.

    Gunn, I would say Polanco. To get back in the hunt asap we can give up Berrios, Gonsalves, Polanco, and Plouffe. I would go with Polanco.

    Brock, you can come up whatever you want, and get the fan board all riled up, but that's not the way TR is going. Why not put the same effort in trying to figure out how to revamp the starting rotation prior to the end of the year? We have not yet lost 100 games, much less 115+, and Ryan has every intention of our favorite team contending in 2017.

    I wouldn't have said it if I didn't mean it. The very capable Jesse Lund of Twinkie Town, interviewed Rob Antony on 3-17, and he explained in depth our favorite teams position in picking up Murphy.

    TR said yesterday on Inside Twins, Sano's future is at 3B. So the fan board is getting what they want and Plouffe is on the table.

    Berrios and Polanco would get you a 2/3. We did contend in 2015, look it up.

    Murphy in Rochester is our catcher of the future. I understand anyone TR trades for instantly becomes a board scapegoat, but Murphy will be our catcher next time we are in the World Series.

    TR is looking to contend in 2017. The most valuable commodity in baseball is young starting pitching and our Twins have a bunch. Duffey, Berrios, Stewart, Jay, Gonsalves, and Thorpe. As King Theo would say, there is no such thing as a young free agent. I would package several of our young prospects, including Polanco, and trade for a youngish 2/3 starter.
