  1. How many of the back-to-backs came after not pitching at all for 3-4 days? I can't buy any of them being that tired, since none had pitched since at least Wednesday.
  2. Plenty of guys have pitched in similar circumstances this year. We gave the game away with Romero and Gibson.
  3. Despite giving today's game away, it was a good week-end. Win tomorrow and be 5 up with 12 to play.
  4. There's a high % chance the Nats will run line-ups out there like we did today. Indians could easily sweep them.
  5. I would not have used May or Rogers. Littel, Duffy and certainly Romo should have been available.
  6. None had pitched for several days before that. They should all have been available.
  7. It will be nice not to watch Schoop anymore. Obviously Gibson is not pitching Wednesday. So bullpen games Wednesday and Thursday?
  8. He needed extra rest. So did Garver. And Polanco.
  9. But Berrios needs an extra day. Because.
  10. Apparently no relievers can pitch back to back days.
  11. You had a lead and a chance to put the dagger in. Littel/Duffy/Romo should be available. Rocco is so freaking cautious.
  12. Bieber is off today. Makes it more frustrating that we ran AAA line-up out there today.
  13. That feels like forfeiting. I don't understand pushing Berrios back. If you start him today and Friday, you set up him to pitch Wed or Thursday before the end of the season which lines him up for game 1. If you stick with giving him 5 days rest, you pitch him tomorrow and next Sunday. That puts him in line to pitch the 2nd to last game of the season. You don't want that. And the alternative is he's on like 10 days rest.
  14. Give 1500 Skor North a listen. They have been the opposite. Breaks cut, all is well talk. Almost to the point of irritation.
  15. What is this rest talk? Finish them, clinch by next Friday or so. Then rest.
  16. Are they really starting Dobnak tomorrow? Why?
  17. Ryan LaMarre with ghost runners was our fallback option.
  18. 94% is ridiculous. 60/40 at best.
  19. How many of you knew that the Yankees held the record before the season started? Or who held it before that? Whoever sets it this year, it will almost certainly be broken again in a year or two. It's a nice talking point, but I honestly don't care that much.
  20. You'll be eating your words around 1 AM when he flares a single to right to make it 6-1 and help the Twins avoid being shut out.
  21. The spin at the time was that he liked it here so much they would trade him, get prospects and then re-sign him. They obviously didn't try very hard considering he took $7 million/year.
  22. You watch games while driving, eh? Or is Cory Provous just that good?
  23. Never mind that he was our entire offense last night. Scheduled day of rest. Can't it wait until Monday when we're not playing a play-off team and at least some of the wounded are back?
  24. Did they though? What did they offer him? He's making $5 million less than Gonzalez and is a far better version.
  25. FIFY
