    For some reason, the sublime Jason Benetti isn't on the Tiger broadcast, but the guys are good. They're really nailing the problem with a few of the Twinks hurlers- too many pitches that right out of the hand never even challenge the strike zone, running up pitch counts, getting into hitters' counts. They're focused on Urena, since he used to be a Tiger, but SWR, Festa, Zebby, same deal.

    Omg, just back from the morning hikey- my heart goes out to all the hardy souls who ventured to Targét- they got the Twinkie Trifecta- crap pitching, flailing hitting, and those ugly kiddy pajamas. Do they have the feet in 'em? 😂

    Heh... I remember, maybe 7 or 8 years ago, browsing through some preseason previews of clubs, where some wag said, "...and don't let them try to fool you with the rotting corpse of Charlie Morton." I thought, wow, what a nasty thing to say.. Then, I think he won about 14-15 games that year, and plenty more after. 😂

    Spot. On. I'm old enough to remember Calvin's parsimonious ways and that dark, dark night in Waseca in 1978, that eventually cost us the core of a good team. The pohlads' word vomit statement is nowhere near as egregious, but every bit as condescending and tone-deaf. These cakeeaters live in a brightly tinted bubble filled with their own gas.

    Nope. We all bent over and took the debacle of the fire sale, fully believing that it paved the way for the silver-spoon nepo-baby crowd to be gone. That was the one and only silver lining here. Then they turned around and hosed us again. The utter contempt that clueless family has shown the fan base the past couple of years negates any notion of goodwill or even a modicum of hope. They can go to hell.

    The quote about Rojas- anybody else see the Saints game during the rain delay? I was fortunate enough to watch Rojas get slapped around for 4 innings by the Omaha Storm Chasers. 😑

    Good god, Brooks. Get the lard out. 2 outs, into the corner, not a clean pickup, and he sloths his way into 3rd. I've seen way too much of him in the starting lineup day after day. yanks broadcast saying they don't think he was even looking at Tommy Watkins waving him around.
