I appreciate the Colts going with the unorthodox signing of a long retired potential HOF QB. If they went with some random QB on a practice squad I wouldn't have watched a single second of Colts football. This storyline has me hooked on their broadcasts.

This weekend wasn't exactly a ringing endorsement for expansion of CFP. The Tulane and JMU games were unwatchable.

The NFC East and AFC North turned out to be the trash divisions this year and we got both scheduled this year. I do hope we can see McCarthy the next 2 games against division opponents but it didn't look good. If this is the last game we saw McCarthy then I'm not sold on him being the QB of the future. Looking good against bottom 5 pass defenses in WAS, DAL, NYG isn't getting me too excited.
