  1. LaTroy Hawkins (11 teams), Rich Hill (12), and Tyler Clippard (10) to add a few more.
  2. Angels throwing all caution into the wind as they continue to fall in the standings.
  3. 1B - Joey Gallo That’s all I need for my dreams to be fulfilled.
  4. It won’t take much to convince me that Polanco is 1st. Him and Kepler are close calls.
  5. https://x.com/mlbtraderumors/status/1691946750452314334?s=46&t=YdnB8yC6KsAGCRK6WIUWqg Today I learned Fernando Abad was still pitching in the majors in 2023.
  6. Ah, Opposite Day must have ended in the time I had a zoom meeting.
  7. Fun, entertaining, stress free game!
  8. Bartolo Colon is still alive and well!
  9. Griffin Jax looks like a Cy Young Award winner the last few weeks!
  10. Kepler has been the most available during his tenure, and that has value. Polanco has had more valuable seasons, but injuries seem to be catching up to him since last season. Buxton has the highest high, and the lowest low out of all 3 players. Kepler has to be the answer due to consistency and availability.
  11. That is a choice Baldelli made today. That’s what I’ve got.
  12. If what we saw this year is the new normal for Buxton, I have no issue giving Bellinger a 6/$120 contract this winter.
  13. What did you expect? Alex Faedo may be the best 5.80 ERA pitcher in baseball history!
  14. If you count his independent league stats Lew Ford has to be an answer.
  15. At least you can wake up every day and see Joey Gallo’s face!
  16. @Craig Arkoguessed correctly. Royce Lewis activated. Castro sent to IL to make room.
  17. They don’t have a ton of choices. I suppose they could put Castro on the IL for his back issue. All we’re discussing, really, is delaying the inevitable with Gallo. Sept 1 is right around the corner which will add 1 more position roster spot. With a lot of players set to return as well… Gordon, Miranda, Kirilloff, and Buxton could all potentially return and only Miranda has options remaining.
  18. We will see who is sent back to St Paul or DFA’d when Lewis is activated. Hopefully Julien or Wallner isn’t sent back just to keep Gallo on roster.
  19. With Lewis coming back tomorrow, Polanco/Solano can temporarily play 1B until Kirilloff comes back.
  20. For me, the expectations were pretty minimal in March. Hope he bounces back to be on pace for 3-4 WAR and either flip him for prospects at the deadline, or keep him for a playoff run. If he still stunk it up at the plate, $5-6 million is not much to eat to DFA him by August 1st. The reason for my frustration is he is playing too frequently at a replacement level.
  21. Agreed. I’ve posted something similar before… Gallo was a 4.7 bWAR / 4.2 fWAR player in 2021. It was a reasonable gamble to assume 2022 was a fluke year and he could bounce back to be a 3-4 WAR player in 2023. After each passing month it has been more and more obvious that 2022 is not a fluke, and he is trending towards being out of baseball. The experiment should have ended months ago. But I don’t blame him specifically. I place the blame more on the FO for not preparing more prospects to play multiple positions. Give me more of the Dodgers’ development philosophy. It’s crazy that there is no one else in the system capable of playing 1B for the Twins.
