  1. Watching the Packers OL reminds me of the 2016 Vikes. When our OL was so bad it derailed everything on offense. All Jordan Love can do, which is all Sam Bradford did in 2016 too, is quick dump off passes over and over again
  2. Green Bay might be too. Their OL is awful. Might be as catastrophic as the 2016 Vikings
  3. The Falcons are gonna be drafting top 5 in May 2027 for sure
  4. I want the most amount of change in the CBA as possible. A Dodgers easy 3 peat should do it. If that doesn’t happen, then Brewers all the way
  5. It's pretty easy to trade away elite talent when you can produce elite rookie talent the same year you're trading a Corbin Burnes away.
  6. Every team should strive to be like the Brewers' development program. It's pretty incredible they can produce good young talent annually. Even the Rays take steps back from time to time, but the Brewers are a well oiled machine over the last decade.
  7. Not even Tito Francona, a manager that I would guess a lot of fans have in their top 3 managers over the last 20 years, can overcome poor ownership.
  8. I guess I should have clarified the Twins are the cheapest men’s big 4 sport tickets in town.
  9. While we're living in fantasy land here, I would like gas to go back to less than $1 per gallon. I'd love for starter homes to be at a starter home price. I'd love for my insurance not to increase 20-30% every year when I've submitted zero claims. Baseball continues to be the cheapest professional sport to attend for families. I've attended a couple of games at Target Field this year for less than $20 a ticket. You can't get into a Wolves game for less than $60, or a Wild game for less than $80. There's a reason I've never been to the new Vikings stadium, because those tickets are multiple hundreds of dollars.
  10. I’d argue holes 17 and 18. He had a rough stretch in mid August
  11. Prielipp crushed his drive down the middle on the 18th hole of the season like Taj. A good way to end things for both players!
  12. Pretty much everyone in my age group mid to late 30s has a 3-5 year plan to gather as much money as possible before AI eliminates all of our jobs.
  13. Coming back to this thought you had. I would not be surprised if MLB used this Vlad Jr example to put term limits on extension/FA contracts. These 10+ year contracts over the last decade have been absurd.
  14. Vlad isn’t the first, and certainly won’t be the last athlete in sports that loses the drive once they get the big contract. He was just dumb enough to say the quiet part out loud.
  15. You out there scoping out new stadium locations for MLB?
  16. Oof. This contract is going to make Anthony Rendon’s look like small potatoes
  17. https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/vladimir-guerrero-jr-blue-jays-contract-expectations/ Really bad look from Vlad Jr. Not something you want to hear from someone 1 year into a 14 year contract.
  18. Taj MVP for sure. Lee started the season as a dreadful SS and cost the team runs. Clemens was way too streaky. Buck hurt half the season again.
  19. Should have done it last year when Pete Alonso was a FA. But the Pohlads were too busy trying to kick Joe out of the picture.
  20. We're at the end of the season so he's emptying the notebook as they say.
  21. You just made me look into the weekend series at TF... I should probably go on Saturday to get a good shot at watching Walker Jenkins. Left hander Mackenzie Gore starts on Sunday, so Jenkins will probably be on the bench.
  22. That's exactly where I'm at. I don't really care to hit a certain payroll number. We will have pre-arb players filling out most of the OF to keep the overall payroll number lower. I care about adding MLB talent where we have holes... Money shouldn't be a reason holding us back from improving pitching, C, 1B, and 2B.
  23. My initial concern is there is no replacement mentioned for the role. So the Twins will likely rely on technology and AI instead of hiring another human. This area in the organization probably needs a fresh set of eyes on it anyway. It's not like our drafting and development of prospects has been great.
  24. We need someone who will tell Tom P he’s dumb for buying when this team clearly didn’t have the talent to be a playoff team from opening day.
  25. The most concerning part so far is his position has no replacement planned. Scouting is going the way of video clips and AI.
