  1. My word, this Detroit reliever looks like he's smoked a few Marlboro reds and shotgunned a few Miller Lites in his day.
  2. Nice one Buxton! But you'd be on 3rd if you didn't take your time watching it.
  3. Nice 1-2-3 inning Mr. Ryan
  4. Watching mediocre at best pitchers mow down the Twins lineup day after day. Life of a Twins fan.
  5. The Twins are at home on May 4th against Boston. But Star Wars promo night is May 24?
  6. 40 degrees with 17 MPH winds at first pitch. Tip of the cap for the people sitting in the stands. You’re braver than I am
  7. The scary thing is the Twins may not be able to feast on weak AL Central opponents that we’ve grown accustomed to in the last 5-10 years. The summer months get long when your favorite baseball team stinks.
  8. 9 pitches needed for a 34 year old journeyman making his first MLB appearance in 7 years to get through the 1st inning.
  9. This is feeling eerily similar to 2016. Out of the race before the race begins.
  10. Varland as the 5 is the result of slashing $30 million in payroll. At this point we need to play it out because the alternative isn’t much better. If he still stinks after 8-10 starts, then it’s time to move him to the bullpen or St. Paul.
  11. Obviously I have no inside speculation but I’m pretty confident that we’re trading up for Drake Maye.
  12. Until today I was completely oblivious to Tonkin's resurfacing in MLB. I remember him heading to Japan in 2018 and forgot about him after that.
  13. This team simply isn't entertaining to watch at the moment. Reminiscent of the first 3 months last season when the offense stunk on a near nightly basis.
  14. That’s a name I haven’t heard in years. He’s 34 now, time flies!
  15. I’m just waiting things out for now. We’re in year 8 of Falvey/Levine and it’s not a good start. This is plenty of runway to build a pretty dang good team if they’re the real deal Holyfield.
  16. Might be. I felt like this was a mid 80s win team assuming Lewis, Buxton, Correa, etc. played a reasonable amount of games. Lewis getting injured on opening day was a big buzzkill and to be honest I haven’t paid much attention since.
  17. KEEP HIS WIFE’S NAME OUT OF YOUR GOD DANG MOUTH!
  18. I mean, if it hasn’t happened yet then it will be the first time of the season.
  19. Can’t think of anyone
  20. Pitching is usually more ready than hitting this time of year, so I am withholding criticism of the offense for now. This is going to be a tough week with the Super Dodgers coming to town. Fingers crossed it’s not worse than a 3-4 record by this time next week.
  21. Yeah you know the old saying… You can’t win a division in April, but you can lose it.
  22. Whelp. So much for baseball today!
