Thoughts while watching RedZone today… I don’t know how there isn’t a huge divide in the Browns locker room. Legal issues aside, Deshaun Watson is on a historically bad run at QB. Doug Pederson should get fired tomorrow. The Jaguars look like they’ve already quit on the season. The Saints are frauds. The Bears are also frauds. Charmin soft schedule so far for them.

I’m just happy we are finally talking about the poor billionaires out there. No one talks about the challenges Joe Pohlad faced being born a billionaire, obtaining an Associates degree in college, and running multiple media companies into the ground. It’s tough work out there. -

I thought we were in for another 30 years of the Pohlads so I am thrilled at the possibility of someone else owning the team. We know who the Pohlads are. The vast majority of fans aren’t demanding the Twins to be a $200+ million payroll team. We’ve begged for them to take a shot during seasons where the stars align like 2019, 2009, etc. Maybe the new owners will actually care and go for it when the team looks like they could advance in the playoffs.

What small or mid market teams have been for sale in the last decade? There’s only 30 franchises so if a billionaire wants in on the sport, they’ll take whatever is available.

They would hit the trifecta if they negotiated a deal with an over the air channel to broadcast a game every week so new eyes can come across the content.

Yeah I don’t blame him either. The paychecks are still clearing and he can relax on a beach for the next 4 months. He will be highly sought after when the season is over.

It’s a good decision. Make it ridiculously easy to stumble upon the games. This should help bringing back apathetic fans and attract new eyes to the team.
