  1. If they combined Tua's legs with Penix's arm and fully functioning brain, they might have a decent QB. Those 2 separately? Yikes.
  2. Don't really understand the offer to Pace Jr. unless they think someone else is gonna offer him a contract that they won't match.
  3. Tom Pohlad intends for the Twins to be competitive, and we're throwing Trevor Larnach back out in LF? Some would say those are contradicting statements.
  4. Old friend Ed Ingram re-signs with the Texans for 3/$37.5 million. I’ve got a feeling a year from now he’s going to be released from that contract
  5. Dolphins trade Minkah Fitzpatrick to the Jets for a 2026 7th round pick. Now that’s just disrespectful to Minkah.
  6. I don’t mind this move, and it doesn’t prevent us from taking a LB in the draft either… Cashman gets dinged up plenty and IIRC he’s on the last year of his contract
  7. John, unless I'm missing something, you're not reporting the most important metric about Bailey Ober. His velocity. Your podcast partner has, however... And so we begin. He has to build up to his 2022-2024 level to be effective, Which wasn't flame throwing as it was, around 92-93 MPH.
  8. Old friend Garrett Bradbury was traded to the Bears today. This news only intensifies my desire to draft a big ol' DT early in the draft. I think we all have the game plan to beat Bradbury.
  9. I wouldn't mind both options because the other guy could be kicked out to guard if needed due to injuries. Big fan of the Iowa center Logan Jones for the record...
  10. Ryan Kelly retires from the NFL. Good on him for doing so. Otherwise he needed his wife or a close family member to slap him silly trying to play again after sustaining 3 concussions in a season.
  11. To put it bluntly, the situation is dire at this position. I haven't paid close enough attention to know how Arcia or Kreidler is looking this spring training. What's the verdict there? Because whether we like it or not, they're the full time starter unless Culpepper makes so much noise in AA/AAA it's impossible to ignore.
  12. I have not seen the video yet, but now I'm just thinking about it. Getting hit on the right elbow as a RH hitter. Why do the baseball gods hate the Minnesota Twins?
  13. 30% of total payroll is paid out to 2 players who won't play a single inning for the Twins this year. Yeah, it's probably not gonna go well. I'm a sucker for opening day so I'll be tuned in and ready to go. If this team is not winning, and more importantly, still playing their boring style of baseball, they won't be on my TV much this summer.
  14. Chicago trades WR DJ Moore and a 2026 5th round pick traded to the Bills for their 2026 2nd round pick. Imagine if we shopped around Addison... A 2nd round pick is easily attainable if not a 2027 1st. Buffalo is also taking on DJ Moore's salary and he's got 3 years left at $24.5 mill cap hits.
  15. I'm curious if I have to like Banda all season now...
  16. I agree it feels inevitable too. But I don't know how you can hate the Vikings redeeming themselves with a former #1 overall pick for close to the league veteran minimum salary. It's a blessing for a team that screwed up the QB situation so horribly the previous year.
  17. I've been thinking about what makes sense for a Brian O'Niell extension. Tytus Howard who Cleveland just traded for... Nothing more than average his whole career and a lot of time being below average. He just signed a 3/$63 extension after the trade. O'Niell is going to be more expensive than we think. My hope right now is 2/$55 million. Could be more given the current salary cap # of $300 million and trends on tackles getting paid.
  18. Is that the list of best LH power hitters we've had since Target Field opened? If so, what an incredibly depressing list.
  19. It couldn't possibly be the title change and raise in salary?
  20. Thanks Kwesi! Both big DT signings in FA last year are released 1 year later. Plus Ryan Kelly as well... Which, why hasn't he retired yet? He can't seriously be considering playing again after sustaining 3 concussions last season in limited time?
  21. Cory Provus for some reason is calling the Gophers vs. Indiana basketball game right now
  22. The problem with SSS is looking like a fool after the fact... But I will still say it... Luke Keaschall isn't exactly lighting it up this spring.
  23. If Bailey Ober can't rebound to his 2023-2024 form, our rotation might be reduced to Joe Ryan and pray for rain.
