Spent the last two nights in Charlotte, watching Rochester. I really like Kepler's swing. Crushed the triple to dead center last night and hit a rope to the wall tonight that Charlotte LF made a nice running catch on. Topped several pitches, just a tad aggressive on breaking balls. Vargas has looked good at the plate, not so much in the field. Chargois looked strong - sat 93-95, topped out at 96. A few flat breaking balls but that's picking nits. I believe he has now retired 13 hitters in AAA, 12 by K. That's impressive at any level. He's ready for a taste. Milone topped out at 85. Commanded his breaking balls, BP fastball. Grossman was already in lineup tonight. Field hit several balls hard, 2nd HR tonight over 400'. Britton hit one through box tonight, possibly fractured the starting pitchers elbow. Walker played last night, couldn't hit a breaking ball with a boat paddle. Walked twice on pitches that could have gone either way. Meyer was out for national anthem tonight. Buxton signed a bunch from the corner of dugout.
