How have you been saying the signing of Park was a waste since summer when he didn't sign until December? Are you clairvoyant? And if so, why are you wasting your time on an internet message board?
Danny just let us know that Sano can run. Given he's a major league baseball player, I certainly hope so. And Danny promptly mentioned that this situation should lead to a couple of runs. Now we know who to blame when it doesn't.
Cory Provus just mentioned Austin Jackson's career .295 average against the Twins like it was a good thing. Why are we stuck with a lead announcer who not only doesn't understand advanced metrics, but doesn't understand Chadwick metrics either?
Cory Provus is already beaten down by the Twins, as he declared Rollins is still a good player. I guess he really liked that .224/.285/.358 slash line last year. To be fair, that would be our 4th best hitter so far this year, so maybe he's on to something.
43.6% of the Twins outs this year have been strikeouts. If that pace continues, they will break the single-season k record for a team. By more than FIVE HUNDRED strikeouts.
Finally! A party I can get behind! This off-shoot that admittedly lacks graphic creativity is good too! https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwigzY6Zl4fMAhVN2GMKHVZDAmMQjRwIBw&url=http%3A%2F%2Frebrn.com%2Fre%2Fpeasants-219850%2F&bvm=bv.119028448,d.cGc&psig=AFQjCNGcJUYBRrGOAqmWUEbTCQjOU48rDQ&ust=1460484561223877
Agree. A 23 year old crushing High A is preferable to a 20 year old that gets demoted to E-Town after being awful in Low A. That being said, age does need to be taken into account in every situation.
On point 2, did you mean team or franchise? Because I'm going to go out on a limb and assume the 2001 Mariners team that went 116-46 never lost 6 in a row.
I assumed it has happened, but is it a 10-20 times a year type occurrence, or a 10-20 times a century? If closer to the latter, let's just stop being silly, and tell the pitcher to just throw the next pitch.
