  1. There was a September game that SWR pitched where he was dominant and after the game gusched about how he and Pareda were in sync. Also Pareda did hit (SSS) with the Twins.
  2. Two top echelon tools can play at the MLB level. Remember Arraez had one top level tool and did alright.
  3. A positive result will be the culling from TD of a lot of haters. As a baseball fan for over 70 years the best place for a fan to be is: NO EXPECTATIONS! The '91 Twins were a last place team the year before, strange things happen in baseball. The Blue Jays struck gold with guys like Barger, Schneider and Clement. Their manager is the same guy who lost to the Twins in the playoffs. By Spring I will be tuning in to watch baseball and the haters will be going to the Lynx games. Good-bye haters, true fans will miss you......not.
  4. Will he continue the agressive base running style that emerged after the big trade off?
  5. This hire won't sell a lot of tickets, but if we start winning the fans will come back. The haters have come out of the woodwork (LOL), but let's give it time.
  6. Ober? That's a lot of chopped liver to be overlooked.
  7. Royce is the modern era Pat Tabler! Load 'em up and his eyes widen. Even the most optimistic of us were starting to wonder if he was going to be the next Julien/Miranda. Perhaps not!
  8. Inexplicably he doesn't run "Buck" with double-play machine Larnach at the plate. If Buck runs, they don't even throw through. Was that Buck's decision not to run?
  9. I've been watching baseball since the mid Fifties. I've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. So many stories being unfolding within the context of the game. Young guys getting an opportunity, fresh energy, baseball has it all. Those memories wash over you. Ted Williams hitting one in the upperdeck at Comiskey Park, Kirbyyyyy Puckett, and also the Terry Feltons. It's all good.
  10. I met Walker after a game last year. Yikes! This dude is a put together. The game he played he layed f down a perfect, bunt and stole second and third. Don't let Rocco near this guy. Steal third base? Horrors!
  11. I think the addition of Roden has lit a fire under Wallner and Larnach. Abel looks able and Urena will have to find a new role. We may have found the Jose Ramierez remedy! He is now 1 for 11 versus his fellow Ramierez!
  12. If I'm a prospective buyer of the club not having to pay an aging shortstop 30 million would be a lot more attractive. Correa is what he is. We would miss his solid error free, plus plus arm, his veteran presence, but I will not miss his lack of clutch hitting and his very predictable GIDPs. I don't hate hm, but let's give some of kids a chance.
  13. Walker Jenkins Discerning eye, can bunt, steal bases (even third), fields his position, and has power potential.Luke Keaschall Adds speed, excitement to the MLB team!Kaelen Culpepper Answering a lot of doubters!Emmanuel Rodriguez Needs to get healthy.Gabriel GonzalezMarco RayaConnor PrielippDasan HillCharlee SotoPayton EelesBrandon WinokurAndrew MorrisNoah CardenasMarek HoustonRiley QuickKyle DeBargeCJ CulpepperBilly AmickKhadim DiawQuentin Young
  14. Ohtani hit a Duran splinker at 98mph to the opposite field 400 ft. Wow! The Dodgers need BP help. What do they have to offer? Pages perhaps? Half the LA crowd lived up to their one foot out the door reputation and listened to Ohtani's epic blast riding on the freeway.
  15. Ironically, the two most criticized FO moves (Bader and France) have been keeping us ahead of the White Sox (barely). Bader is a high wire act that is fun to watch
  16. If you can't win championships at least be entertaining! Bader is a high wire act. Highlight reel to what was he thinking, it is fun to watch. Remember he is replacing Manny Margot who was not much fun to watch!
  17. Willie Castro is tied for the best era on the team, best batting average, tied for HR leade all while playing 4 positions! MVP! We have a K-Mart version of Ohtani right here! Enjoy....
  18. The home plate ump was horrible (for both teams), but Ober can't visibly display it like he did. St. Louis was crushing balls against him. I don't think the White Sox will be as compliant as last year. On the bright side the Saints look like a juggernaut!
  19. Bold prediction: Both Bader and Gasper will get more pinch hits than Margot!
  20. Pitchers that rely on their changeups like Radke and Lopez get better as the game goes because they establish their fastballs early to set up the change. Teams tend to jump on these pitchers early.
  21. The Saints should be really good this year and fun to watch!
  22. ....or Pablo Lopez....
  23. Just don't bring him in with the go ahead run at third!
