Or maybe it's a pitcher who can't find the plate, then throws a meatball for the grand slam. AARGH.
  2. IndyTwinsFan
... and borderline incompetent (offensively), to boot.
  3. IndyTwinsFan
The hitless wonders are on full display again! AARGH.
  4. IndyTwinsFan
To put it kindly. My real viewpoint would be strong enough to earn some demerit points from the moderators.
  5. IndyTwinsFan
The hitless wonders are back at it again. Sigh!
  6. IndyTwinsFan
    Now you jinxed us.
  7. IndyTwinsFan
Time to get Ober out of the game. This is getting ridiculous!
  8. IndyTwinsFan
    Yawn!
  9. IndyTwinsFan
Unless he's trying to "save the bullpen", which I find laughable given the inconsistency of this bullpen.
  10. IndyTwinsFan
And it's not particularly close, IMO.

Time to get Pablo out of there. NOW.
  12. IndyTwinsFan
Including today. Looking eminently hittable almost every time he pitches. I can't imagine he'll last much longer today because he clearly doesn't have it. What happened to the Pablo of last year?
  13. IndyTwinsFan
With no sign of it ending anytime soon.
  14. IndyTwinsFan
... and/or higher up than that.
  15. IndyTwinsFan
Now it appears that some are starting to point fingers at some of their teammates. That's definitely not a good sign.

I think it's time to take a short break from watching this team. The offense, defense, and bullpen have been so offensive lately that each game I watch becomes an exercise in seeing how much (or little?) nauseating play I can tolerate before deciding I've had enough for one day. Right now, it's not even one inning. I'll be back to watch soon enough. I'm just not sure when yet.
  17. IndyTwinsFan
    I certainly don't.

The front office is equally responsible. Rocco can only play the players the front office has provided him. You could say that injuries have been a significant contributing factor, which is true, but we're also so utterly lacking in major league-caliber depth throughout the organization that it's resulting in the kind of garbage play we've seen for all but a 12 game stretch this season.
  19. IndyTwinsFan
They should just keep a large supply of them within easy reach at all times.
  20. IndyTwinsFan
You could also say that about a significant percentage of today's lineup.
  21. IndyTwinsFan
Someone should step out of the dugout right now and wave the white flag. This has gotten way beyond ridiculous.
  22. IndyTwinsFan
    Which is a considerable understatement.
  23. IndyTwinsFan
I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if/when we get shut out for the third time in the past 4 games.
  24. IndyTwinsFan
    I wholeheartedly second that thought.
  25. IndyTwinsFan
Maybe in beer league slow-pitch softball, but I'm not seeing it in MLB.
