I'm not real confident about a comeback, given our utter incompetence against left-handed pitching. I hope I'm wrong, but that's what I'm feeling right now.

That we're even asking this question says way more about this team than I care to think about. And it's not saying anything good.

After the first four batters, it appears as though we're reverting back to the same old garbage at-bats against lefties that we saw so often before the break. That's definitely not going to get it done.

While I agree wholeheartedly with the sentiment, my guess is that Rocco is probably safe through the end of the season. After that, it's anybody's guess.

May well be true, but I'd be very surprised if he accepted it.

I'd prefer that he remain anonymous, because he's virtually invisible in this lineup anyway.

If they don't do some significant alterations to this roster during the ASG break, apart from reactivating Polanco, I am going to be extremely disappointed in this front office. Primarily because, in my mind, they're giving the indication to the fan base and the players themselves that they just don't care enough to even try to improve the roster. IMO, that's pretty sad, to say the least. There, now I feel a bit better.

This fiasco kind of makes me glad that I've been preoccupied with other things this afternoon. Therefore, I hadn't seen or heard anything on this mess of a game until just a few minutes ago. I definitely won't be watching the rest of it today.
