  1. No posts yet blaming both KC runs on Sano?? I am disappoint.
  2. I hate to be dramatic, but: 1. MUST WIN!!1! 2. Speaking for everyone everywhere...stay clothed, RB.
  3. I think you have that backward. Taking pitches that aren't strikes is an important skill. But ultimately, like all hitters, it's what he accomplishes when he DOES swing that matters.
  4. Fine Food Selection? Fabulously Fantastic Snack? Food For Summer? I don't speak Canuck.
  5. A pretty decent history of the K (Hint: rising K rates are not a new phenomena): http://www.hardballtimes.com/the-strikeout-ascendant-and-what-should-be-done-about-it/
  6. Well geez...I HOPE it's new food. Been six months since the last game. Leftovers are fine, but six months?
  7. "Male parent." As in the song: Hello Fodder, Hello Mudder, Here I am at Camp Grenahder.
  8. Is that a beer in your refrigerated drawers or are you just happy to see us?
  9. Twins daily is the place to be. Game-threadin' is the life for me. "Corn" spreadin' out so far and wide. Keep Dan Gladden just gimme that RB smile.
  10. rain delay to start the season. stupid MLB.
  11. I laugh at today's tetherball head smacks. Back in my day, we couldn't afford no fancy schmancy fake leather tetherballs. We used rocks. And we LIKED it! Now THAT forced you to learn to keep your head up reeeaaaalll quick, friends. Real quick.
  12. Ya lazy bum...What'd ya do all those years before you started working?
  13. Now this misunderstanding was funny until I realized that my wife obviously now believes I've become so lazy that I can't be troubled to speak an entire sentence when describing the mildew situation. Concur.
  14. True, except I sorta believe, over time, if you get the less important outs, you won't need to get the more important outs. And if you can't do the former, I'm not going to give you many opportunities to do the latter.
  15. AL MVP? Pfft. Way to half step it, Nelson. WORLD SERIES MVP!!1!
  16. Like many flash-in-the-pan rookies, sustaining success proved to be tough.
  17. concur.I see left field as the most likely spot for Kepler when he's ready.
  18. I concur OPS does not grow on trees. Quentin wasn't healthy in 2014, nor last year. He did put up OPS's of .855, .877, .838, and .821 the four previous years. Health is obviously a huge question, and wouldn't be helped by playing OF and/or 1b once or twice a week. But I do believe if he's healthy, he'll end up helping some big league team this year. Vargas might be an option (although if both get 250 PAs my money would be on Quentin out hitting Vargas), Kepler not so much. Kepler isn't going to be a bench player this year.
  19. If he could stay healthy, and get maybe 275 PAs, there's a decent chance Quentin would post the second best OPS on the 2016 Twins. And who cares if he played for the Sox. So did Escobar. Murphy played for the Yankees...
