  1. OK, but what if we stipulate the triple root canal is without novocaine? That'd make you think long and hard about your choice, I wager.
  2. https://www.songkick.com/concerts/32547224-def-leppard-at-target-field Indeed.
  3. Man, judging by that gif, he releases it exactly the same, time after time after time.
  4. Ehire Adrianza has no trade value. Every team has an almost exact copy or two of Adrianza in AAA. If not, they can get one cheap if needed for nothing of any real value.
  5. Sano's 20 day rehab period expires May 20th. I seriously doubt he's optioned at that point. He'll be back with the Twins the 20th in Anaheim, is my guess.
  6. He has legitimately pitched extremely well, no matter who he faced. This isn't Alabama vs Slippery Rock. This is the major leagues.
  7. Cave will be the first to go, whether that's when Astudillo returns, or Sano, whichever comes first. For the second of those, I am guessing they'll try to get back to a 12 man staff. Whichever of the bottom of the pen guys is floundering the worst goes down.
  8. "Fly ball down the right field line...this one will reach the seats." Fair or foul, Danny? Seems kinda important, no?
  9. I'd like to thank all contributors, but I want to give a special shout out to Randball's Stu. I absolutely love his contributions to this site.
  10. Nice job, Odorizzi! It's very encouraging, so far at least, that a bad game seems to be an isolated event, rather than the start of a trend. I really feel like the addition of Cruz has made a huge difference in the lineup, and in the dugout. Everyone else can relax, without the need to be the big stick in the middle of the lineup, and just having that recognizable big league hitter makes everyone else feel more legitimate.
  11. I don't remember Scott Erickson throwing harder. In fact, I saw him pitch for the UofA several times and if anything, he threw harder then. What I do remember was TK leaving him in to try to complete his third consecutive complete game shutout at Boston in May 1991. He took a shutout into the 9th, but was clearly gassed, and while he did complete the game, he gave up three runs in the 9th, which wasn't the bad part. His arm was never the same after that game.
  12. Local moderator debates telling TDers the Jays have signed Jose Bautista to a 3 day contract ... guess which 3 days?
  13. Players rarely crash. They taper off, and there's been little to no taper from Cruz in recent years. It was reasonable to expect him to be pretty close to his most recent 3 years.
