It was hard hit, but to left. The SS got a glove on it. Lewis would have had to wait until the ball got past the SS and probably doesn't score. But he then would have scored on Santana's fly ball. If, of course, everything plays out the same. -
Id prefer he stays in a super utility role, rather than a full time position. I think that maximizes his value. My guess is Castro is here for 2025 and then gone. I don't think he'll get a long term contract, and that's probably the right move. He's been a real nice find though.

I understand all that. I'm still ok with tagging up there. I'd say he makes it often enough to pay off the risk. Of course they play the IF in.

Yeah, I think it was an ok risk. So many benefits to being at third with one out rather than 2nd. Unfortunately, the CFer made a hell of a play.

Margot is a complete waste of space and no well run team voluntarily wastes a roster spot on him.

Who is claiming Margot? And contracts are not an issue for released players. Twins would be on the hook for all but prorated league minimum.

This was always going to be dicey if entrusted to what was available in the pen.

This is frustrating. Letting the bullpen get this shredded. With a guy you haven't used in 8 days, BTW. Wasting spots guys like Jackson. Wasting roster spots on sinkholes like Margot and Farmer. It just becomes difficult to maintain anything.good organizations don't do this

You cannot put yourself in a position where Margot, Farmer and Vazquez are all taking up PAs. Vazquez isn't going anywhere. So do something about the other 2 spots, FFS.
