  1. Really bad idea to pitch this team's lefties inside. Why?
  2. I love these "Serpientes" uni's. You know, as a, uh, younger demographic.
  3. I don't think they want to add Festa to the 40 man yet. We'll see
  4. For the record, Carroll has been slowly trending up. June has been his best month, mid-.700s OPS.
  5. Santana has been better than I would have dreamed. Still 2nd on the team in PAs so let's hope he can keep it up.
  6. I thought we were discussing who you DID mention. Did you not label Brooks Lee a "once in a decade" player?
  7. They don't really need to fill Paddack's spot until Saturday.
  8. Disagree. Mediocre starters are only more valuable on a spreadsheet. In truth, they're pretty easy to find. Every team has several. Interchangeable, unremarkable, putting up similar results to many others. Impact relievers are way more impactful. They're harder to find, as well. We've got one in Jax. Leave it alone. If Jax could throw this kind of stuff for 6 innings every five days, great. Move him. But he won't. Been there, done that.
  9. A player not on the 40 man with zero big league time is a "once-in-a-decade" player? C'mon. Preposterous Statement Tournament high seed, right there.
  10. Agreed, but he's been their 6th starter on paper, had a successful start last time up, and doesn't require a 40 man move. I doubt it's Festa.
  11. Ober would be on normal rest Thursday. Same for Lopez Friday. I'd guess that's what they'll do, with Varland going Saturday in Seattle.
  12. There might be multiple reasons the Twins shouldn't pursue either of these starters, but money isn't one of them.
  13. Paddack to 15 day IL, retroactive to Saturday. Ronny Henriquez up and apparently already in Arizona.
  14. It doesn't work that way. If you skip Paddack completely, you'd need to bring Ryan back on three days rest Saturday, and SWR on three days rest Sunday. They're not going to do that. An option would be to push Paddack's next start back two days, from Thursday to Saturday. That moves Ober and Lopez's next start up a day, to the normal four days off instead of five. It gives Paddack a seven day break and brings Ryan back Sunday on his normal four days rest. They could also keep this week as scheduled, and use Monday July 2nd's off day to skip a Paddack start if they wait. But they can't, as of now, just skip Paddack's start this Thursday.
  15. Rocco can't WAIT to get his better, LH hitters out at any opportunity, often in the middle innings where there there going to be further RH relievers entering the game. Rocco refuses to take the same opportunities to get his weak, RH hitters out of a game when the same platoon advantage PH opportunities arise.
  16. Rocco managed to turn runners on 2nd and 3rd, no outs, into 1 run. Farmer, Vazquez, Margot against a RH reliever.
  17. You really shouldn't have had to, ferpetesakes
