  1. Wait a minute.. Pitching change?? I was ASSURED there was no possible way a manager could get a reliever warmed in the middle of a meltdown before current reliever implodes for 5 runs, an out, and a 2 minute delay for a lost glove over the wall on the first of TWO dingers given up. What gives??
  2. It's like everyone is shocked...a guy who comes up to start and has never thrown more than 92 pitches in his professional career can't give them more than 5.
  3. Smalley, on 0-2: "He'll be looking at a fastball, or a slider. Or a change up." ... I guess that kind of analysis is why Roy gets the big bucks to be on TV.
  4. That's what RBI look like. Now 99 for Ozuna. Don't tell me it's not a skill.
  5. Pathetic. If SWR is paying attention that's a free out. Instead, 2nd and 3rd. Entirely effing coaching and demanding better.
  6. We're getting shutout by Spencer S. of the Braves. And it's not Spencer Strider.
  7. Watkins had the stop sign up, that's why Kepler slowed. Then changed his mind, then changed again.
  8. I don't think Atlanta planned on 600 PAs for either. Think Laureano instead of Margot.
  9. Merrifield and Laureano are the kind of reserves good teams fill out their roster with. History of performance.
  10. I thought the first of those--watching Alcala turn a 4-0 seventh inning lead in Texas last Sunday into a 4-5 deficit, while Rocco picked his nose in the dugout--had potential to change the season. So far...
  11. It's also the 3rd of 3 lefties in a row, which of course sets up well for Atlanta to get them all out of the game any time they choose.
  12. With Blewett, Richards, and Henriquez all going multiple innings last night it was almost inevitable at least one of them would be replaced today. I'm surprised it's only one. I'd imagine one of Henriquez or Blewett will be gone once Tonkin's flight touches down. Blewett went 3 IP, let's guess him.
  13. After last night, Wallner in 20 PAs vs LH Pitching: .235/.350/.529
