  1. Indeed. We are deep in the mire!
  2. I was hoping for a ground ball to Palacios, but not for that throw from Polanco.
  3. Not the good Duffey. Maybe he and Bundy can go into (non-baseball) business together.
  4. Maybe Duffey will be his good self today and close this out. But I'd feel more comfortable if there were a reliable Plan B in the pen in case the bad self shows up.
  5. I fear the Duff in the 8th...
  6. Kind of depends whether you think Correa stays two more seasons.
  7. Alejandro Kirk. Offspring from the Enterprise's visit to planet Dominican?
  8. Because we need to strike out more?
  9. We have only gotten three outs at this point, two of them on a remarkable and improbable play. I wouldn't start counting poultry just yet.
  10. Have the White Sox been teaching the Blue Jays to play defense?
  11. Maybe he was expecting him to drop it.
  12. Actually, there was a lot of doubt. It hit the pole.
  13. Good morning, all. While waiting for the Twins' game to start, I recommend watching the first half of the Ukraine @ Wales World Cup qualifier. (On ESPN+ if you subscribe.) Last qualifier for the WC Finals, which was delayed by war earlier in the spring. Exciting drama.
  14. I second this. I've only seen a few of his games, but he has done something special every time I've tuned in.
  15. Maybe it's my imagination, but it seems like they are shifting him more this year. And he seems to hit into it consistently.
  16. We are ahead when I go to get my booster. I come home and the disaster we've come to expect is happening. You've all let me down!
  17. Baseball is better about that than English football. At least here they have the IL and recalls from the minors. There it is just your 25-man senior roster plus unlimited under-21 players from the club's various youth ranks. Typically no announcements at all and certainly no "roster moves."
  18. I wonder whether the vaccination situation in Canada affected which broadcasters are doing this series.
  19. That's what I see as well. Remember the year that the White Sox sold the timing rights to 7-11, and all their regular home games started at 7:11?
  20. Doesn't really say. Here's the link: https://www.mlb.com/twins/news/twins-injuries-and-roster-moves It says Garlick left with mild hamstring strain and is "undergoing evaluation." Urshela is listed as "day-to-day." I hope that Buxton's injury god doesn't choose today for his next injury. The thought of Sanchez in CF is truly frightening! Edit: Maybe that's why Buxton is DH today...
  21. So according to the Twins' site, Garlick and Urshela left with minor injuries yesterday and are not in the lineup today. Does that make Sanchez the only bench player, or am I counting incorrectly?
