    2. Aim High – There’s a quote “Most people fail in life not because they aim too high and miss, but because they aim too low and hit.” So the Twins should swing with an upper cut, eh? Sano had that down, but Twins coaches are forcing him to change to a more level swing. Another bad coaching decision, eh? Got my Norwegian on this morning, eh?

    33 years old, 9 seasons in Cleveland's front office, starting as a baseball operations intern in November 2007. Promoted to assistant GM last fall after Ross Atkins was hired as GM by the Toronto Blue Jays and former Indians club president Mark Shapiro. He receives high marks for his interactions with the scouting and player-development departments. Your comments about Falvey are absurd. Period.

    69.2 innings, 79 hits, 24 BB, 13 HR's, 40 ER's. He's 26 years old, so there's still a window of opportunity for Mike Tonkin. It just should not with the Twins. There are other options. The worse I can say for Tonkin: he chewed up MLB innings so other MiLB RP's can get more innings in there. Hope that works out

    So how many spots are we talking about here? 7? There's been improvement from the younger relievers as they got past the call-up jitters. The same will happen next season. Closer: Kintzler, until someone else steps up. Short: Pressely, Chargois, Rogers Middle: O'Rourke + Wimmer, Long: Berrios, Duffey If everything goes well, Chargois + Rogers step into split closer roll. Add 1 MiLB pitcher Berrios and Duffey get some short, low pressure success and deemed ready for starter duties. Add 2 MiLB pitchers. IDK: I seem to be developing an entire staff

    So a bad year for Duffey puts him in the bullpen, but Berrios in the starting rotation? Next year, as I've posted before, both should be in the MLB bullpen. 2 inning max, low pressure situations. Work them in; not just dump them into the rotation. And with that, yeah, Twins will still need some veterans to step up / heal [santana, Hughes] and for others to once and for all, prove they belong [Gibson, Santiago and May]. Watching Santiago last night, I don't think he's that guy. May has had unreported back issues. Gibson: IDK. Injuries, shoulder. I hope May and Gibson are completely healed by Spring Training. And here's hoping Mejia is going to be, something. Stats don't tell much. To summarize: I don't believe the Twins have any real semblance of a starting rotation right now. I just hope they don't go to deep or to long [contract] on anything.
