    I voted Dozier just because I really think it would be cool to see him get to 30/30. Hopefully he continues like he hit in the final game of the Colorado series. Hopefully he is breaking out of his funk as another Twins Daily article talked about.

Has some interesting tidbits about Molitor, Hrbek, Mauer, Morris, Theibar among others. I really enjoyed it and wanted to share it everyone.

    A couple of the other threads got me thinking about who might get a September call-up so I figured I would go ahead and start a new thread instead of clogging other threads. Anyway, my predictions for call-ups are: Vargas Rosario Meyer (assuming he hasn't hit his innings limit) and a last big one Buxton. Thoughts Twins Daily community?

    Is Buxton only playing in one game of the doubleheader just for precautionary reasons?

    Those stats are pretty eye popping. It does kind of give the "let me show you something" vibe.

    Hopefully over the next 2 months Buxton tears the cover off the ball so they give him a September call-up.

    I am excited to see what happens with Polanco. When does he get a promotion to AA? Will he continue to rake at NB? Also, the group of players that could eventually all be together at NB are loaded with talent. Buxton, Rosario, Berrios, Polanco, Vargas to name a few. Wow! The talent is starting to trickle towards the upper levels of the minors which gives hope for the big league club.

    Personally I love the fact that TwinsDaily has so much minor league coverage. I live in Kentucky and it is not as easy to keep up with the minor league teams where I am and TwinsDaily helps me do that. So thank you to all the writers/moderators/contributers who make TwinsDaily what it is.

    Once Buxton and Polanco join NB, we likely will have Rosario, Buxton, Polanco, Vargas, and Berrios to name a few at NB. Goodness, all of a sudden there is a LOT of talent at NB.

    My thoughts are: Hughes (Lock) Gibson(Lock barring epic collapse) Nolasco(unfortunately likely a lock because of contract or he figures it out in the 2nd half) May(who I believe will be up in Minnesota before August) Meyer(he definitely is up in September assuming he doesn't hit his innings limit and shows he can get big league hitters out). This leaves Pelf as a swingman along the lines of Sam Deduno right now, where he can give a spot start or do long man duty. At least this is what I am hoping will occur. I don't believe that the Twins will sign another FA this season, they don't have the spots currently for some of the prospects, why add another FA in the offseason to further clog the rotation? Unless you are going to sign David Price.

    I was thinking something similar, give him a taste of Cedar Rapids to see how he handles it, so that we know he can go up to Cedar Rapids next year for the full season.

    I have to agree with Brian, I hate the White Sox, see what I did there, more than anything, except possibly those Cheeseheads in Green Bay. My top 5 for all sports would be 1. White Sox 2. Packers 3. Yankees 4. Red Sox 5. Tigers I agree with the hating the money thought clearly....Yankees money, Red Sox money, Tigers money. Sensing a pattern yet?

    Again another great hitting performance for Rosario. I have wonder if he won't be up before September, but almost certainly in September when rosters expand.

    Great article Nick! I really hope we see Dozier get to 30/30! That would be a huge accomplishment and something to root for for the entire 2nd half!

    And it is also too bad Buxton has been hurt, otherwise he might already be manning CF. But no sense in crying over spilt milk as they say.

    You and me both. It is too bad he had his suspension or he likely would have already been up.

    Has he been playing outfield or 2nd base in NB? Either way, he is very likely going to be in the conversation very soon.

    I think I agree with most of your predictions except for the NYY series, where I think 2 out of 4 is probably better because in a 4 game set we are likely to get Tanaka, so that is a loss just like Felix is for Seattle. Prediction: 7-7

    Polanco clearly showed that he deserves the promotion when he goes back down he should be in NB. Has Rosario been playing 2nd base? If so it would be good to get him and Polanco playing together to develop as a double play combo.

    Then I think that the Twins should give up on Florimon, Hicks at least has the potential to be successful in the MLB, Florimon has failed to demonstrate he can even be a useful utility guy.

    Hopefully they do cut Florimon loose, then when it is time send Polanco to NB. Does this debut potentially earn Polanco a September call-up now too?

    I think until it shows clearly that Polanco needs to go back down, keep him up. This experience is absolutely huge for him! Let him continue to gain experience until it is absolutely clear he needs to go back down. If nothing else, he provides a nice spark for late in the game.

    So is this rough patch a sign that the Rubberband has truly broken, is it just a case of tough teams (Angels), lots of injuries (Plouffe, Nunez, Santana) and some not so awesome pitching (Nolasco)? Thoughts?
