Not a huge fan, but what do I know.
  2. John Kelsey
Darn, I was hoping for Tucker.

It is ridiculous, and what does Santana have to do to get sent down?
  5. John Kelsey
I don't really get it either, a guy like Plawecki seems like a more likely target.

    Ugh.

Fien back, Stauffer DFA'd Vargas up, Santana down to Rochester End result- Rosario in left, Escobar at short, Vargas at DH, Arcia stays in Rochester until he earns his way up.
  8. John Kelsey
    He's fine, starting again tomorrow.

I only ate 4, but my point still stands.

Plouffe is 8th among all AL position players in WAR and third among 3B. He deserves more love.

I think I'm going to call an audible and take a half day to head over to the ballpark today. It's too nice to sit inside and stare at a computer screen. I'd rather sit outside and eat 6 or 7 hot dogs.

So he has 10 already and is on pace for 35 or something stupid like that. Assuming he stays healthy, how many triples do you think he hits this year across all levels? I'm going to say 26.

    Mat Batts
  17. John Kelsey
He's not. AJ Achter, Logan Darnell, and Caleb Thielbar are the relievers in Rochester that are on the 40 man.
  18. John Kelsey
Sounds like Mat Batts got the call over Gonsalves to head to Fort Myers. Luke Bard was finally activated from the DL and will start for the Kernels, Yorman Landa went back to the DL after throwing just one inning.

I bet Zack Jones could hold his own in the big leagues.

    Pelfrey, Nolasco, pray for rain.
  21. John Kelsey
He was in the bullpen for good before he got hurt so I would imagine he's there to stay.
  22. John Kelsey
Blaine Boyer the late inning destroyer does it again.

  24. John Kelsey
He's not ready and there was no reason to believe he would be with the numbers he was putting up in the minors.

Anyone have any thoughts on what Kepler's future position will be? It seems like he's been playing 1B out of necessity with Buxton, Walker, and Harrison manning the three OF spots. I seem to recall hearing the he could play all three spots in the outfield but left seems most likely based on the little I know about him.
