  1. Mr. Sano is a huge man who had surgery on one of his wheels and has been rehabbing this offseason. Discussing his current weight and attempting to tie that to a lack of commitment seems really pointless to me at this juncture. I'll go read a different topic now.
  2. Very good point. I haven't researched in as much detail. I had Buxton on the brain when I posted.
  3. Having a top outfield playing behind him is bound to help his numbers. Also, I really like the trade.
  4. I feel that an ace starter would impact this team more than anything.
  5. Why yes. I am willing to spend Pohlad's money on my happiness for a change. Mauer comes off the books after next year too.
  6. That Darvish dude would look pretty good on our team.
  7. I would not trade Gordon. He is an almost ready high end prospect at a key position that can join our core very soon. He should be a fixture for years at a position that has been a turnstile in recent years.
  8. Do not trade Irvin Santana. Why on earth would we offload the backbone of our rotation with "hopes" of replacing him in the offseason?
  9. Just a reminder, I grabbed credit for fixing Buxton's swing.
  10. I would be cool with him replacing Adrianza and getting reps as you describe.
  11. That's actually a little unfair. I think he means that as he gets better at a more refined swing he will begin to stroke the ball with more confidence and authority.
  12. He can be as comfortable as he wants with his big looping swing. It's not going to play for him at the major league level. Comfortable or not, he needs to shorten up and be more direct to the ball while aiming to hit line drives.
  13. shorter more direct swing = ball in play more = all star
  14. I would like to see Granite in the cf/lf mix with Rosario and Buxton. I get your reasoning for that to be at Kennys's expense. It's a compelling article. I'm undecided on the topic. Granite seems like he could help us in more ways while Vargas is a bit redundant with this roster. So, I reluctantly(because I like Vargas) lean towards your opinion.
  15. Just when you think you can't get any madder at him, Rosario does something to TOTALLY REDEAM HIMSELF!
  16. At some point Buxton needs to shorten that swing up.
  17. Isn't that the second time recently that Polanco has failed to get a bunt down in a key situation?
  18. Eddie Rosario is 25 and coming in to his own. When I think of him the term "leash" does not even enter my mind. Yes he still has things to work on. That is to be expected. But seriously.....a leash?? No disrespect intended. But, I don't get that at all.
  19. Too bad a player's readiness doesn't always jive with the big club's current needs. I lean more towards the being aggressive side myself. But, I can see where it's a very fine line.
