    With all the stat casting sensors, we just put a pitching machine on the mound that replicates the pitch on the other field, and similarly on the plate that replicates contact/launch angle.

    Oh, and i meant to point out T-Rex has an arm for a knuckler... Wonder what he woulda called it though, not exactly having knuckles.

    I guess the question is can someone apply the advanced metrics to help the knuckleball along? The same approach usually argues against the sac bunt, although it is a bit of a self-fulfilling analysis. Players don't bunt enough to make a sacrifice so sure a thing, and that was usually the only thing that made it worthy of consideration. On the other hand, can knuckler use the spin rate analysis to help learn what it does? This would be a fantastic thing to hear about if it happened.

    How long before the vet committee may consider him? May they consider him earlier because he was snubbed? Or will he have to wait through an equivalent of all 15 ballots he theoretically could have been on? Don't remember the rules, and too lazy to look 'em up... For the sake o' MN sports, i hope he gets in, and would get a chuckle if he got in earlier this route.
