  1. ABWII is in no way ready to be a MLB player. Fryer as a backup to Sukuzi? Maybe. I'm curious to how this goes.
  2. Dang My feed froze on the 2-2 count
  3. Well, here comes the shutout then...
  4. While I agree, its good to be slow with him, you can't compare him to the Joe Mauer, Michael Restovich, ect. Totally different prospects with different approaches, stats, ect. The best thing would be for Kepler to finish the year at Triple AAA. He has a good ISO but he could hit a few more homeruns. I do like the nearly identical walk to strikeout rate, that is very promising.
  5. Boyer against Frazier. This can't be good
  6. Unless he pushes his walk rate up and his strikeout rate down, hes going to be a bust candidate. Btw, I was looking up other Twins players and their perpherials. Danny Santana has a 1.5% walk rate to go with a 25% strikeout rate. OUCH
  7. I have a feeling that the Twins have scored most of their runs for the series already.
  8. Great, might as well just let him go to third
  9. I'm so over Suzuki. Dude can't throw baserunners out and hits terrible. Catch framing is below average. OBP is below .300. I could go on and on...
  10. Rocket arm?? I thought his arm was so-so, making him tough to stick at shortstop long term
  11. I pulled this from minor league ball From BP chat today: Steve (Cedar Rapids): Mau put a OFP of 70 on Nick Gordon. That’s pretty high praise. Is he that well-liked amongst the other BP Prospect writers? Jeff Moore: Well Mau is a ridiculous human being. So is Nick Gordon though so that doesn’t make it wrong. Let’s look at it this way: as it looks now Gordon is showing the skills to be able to stick at shortstop. That puts him in a certain class right there, and it’s one that’s filled with a bunch of guys, most of whom can’t really hit. Gordon shows a potential plus hit tool and some power, which puts him ahead of 90 percent of the guys who can stick at shortstop. Now, as Mau pointed out, there’s a lot of development left. Gordon is far away, so he’s a high risk prospect. But we assign OFP’s without regard to risk. That’s what makes it an OFP. Gordon is very good, he’s just very far away and there’s a lot of development ahead of him.
  12. Well they weren't going to score any runs anyways so might as well show the front office they need better relief pitchers
  13. If Thompson isn't sent down after the game, I will be disappointed
  14. So in the rare occurrence Buxton gets on, 50% of the time he gets out in the basepaths. Difference maker all right
  15. Let's see, fly ball pitcher with Escobar in left? Ugh he blows out there Why not Robinson?
  16. With Stewart's lack of strikeouts and Gordon's complete lack of power they might slide a ways in the rankings. It's early but the results have exactly looked promising from the last two drafts
  17. But why would Royals fans want their whole club there? Besides being a bit funny, the winner gets home field advantage which is important for them considering they could be playing in the world series. Infante doesn't help you win
  18. Except Pelfrey isn't a fly ball pitcher,he's a ground ball one.
  19. The opposing batter splits away. It doesn't matter, when you got Thompson and Duensing facing them, the opponent is literally ahead in the count 2-0 before he even steps in the batter box. Let Fien, Pressly or even Boyer (can't believe I said that) pitch the whole inning.
