Any ideas why, in the era of Tommy John surgery and advanced stats, teams don't pull their starters in blowouts where the starters team is actually winning to save the arm. I get that teams want to protect the bullpen. Anyone see teams trying this approach? You'd have to work around pitcher's egos of course.

Why is ABW not a higher ranked prospect? His numbers are superior to Sano in almost every category. Is it because the K's are so high, which is one of a few stats where Miguel is better. What's a good comp for Kepler's ceiling? AJ Pollack?

This is the first comment that mentions that Kris Bryant might play first base. Is this an option? The Twins have no legit answer long term at first. Maybe Travis Harrison but I see him as a Parmalee clone with limited ceiling.

I'm sorry but there is no way that the Rangers would trade Profar for Morneau and Span. Even with Andrus and Kinsler, they could trade the young SS for a much better player than Morneau. Whomever the best player available at the deadline could fetch Profar. That is, unless Morneau is hitting .300 with 20+ hr and 80 RBI's. Profar is going to be a star.

Agree, he's not a number 2 at all. Perhaps, and I mean just maybe he's a number 3. He could be an ace for the Twins though with the guys they've been running out there.

If Morneau continues his improvement, will the Twins trade him? How many years does he have left? Is he a long term answer still?
