  1. Rosario's plate discipline is frustrating!
  2. Yeah he probably will want a farewell tour. His offense has fallen off a cliff since a strong 1st half, luckily his defense hasn't been atrocious as past couple seasons so he hasn't been a black hole. Hopefully, the Twins front office is smart enough to see that unless he wants to make a few million playing sparingly off the bench, he doesn't have a role as a player next year on this team. Arcia, Hicks and Kepler should be up sooner then later. Arcia is out of options, so unless he is traded, he should be the right fielder. I know he's been terrible this year but he just needs some time off to get completely healthy and his head on straight.
  3. Meh its whatever. Remember Gordon Beckham? Man, he was something else for that 1st year but is trash ever since.
  4. Yeah its pretty obvious they are. You guys should play OOTPB and manage the Twins. I remember eating Nolasco's contract, trading prospects with Santana, Suzuki and Hughes just to get their salaries off of the books. Then I won it all in 2020! But yeah, the Twins certainly screwed themselves over. Always buying high, selling low, 9 times out of 10.
  5. Those that are worried about Babip is ridiculous. His Babip was like .600 a couple weeks ago, it's still leveling off. He's not a Danny Santana who's value comes from his batting average. Expect him to hit in the .260 range or so in the long run which is perfectly acceptable.
  6. Basically Molitor is bringing a knife to a gun fight
  7. You need a "no homo" in that comment ^^^
  8. I'm thinking Ryan panicked. He was telling everyone there would be new faces in the dugout and he was dangling Hu around for better relief pitchers and the best he came up was Jensen. Deadline was approaching fast and he pulled the trigger.
  9. I read he's going to wear gloves on the bases now but he's still pretty raw imo. I'm not sure how the coaches failed to tell him how to take a lead and steal bases but they did. And his hitting leaves something to be desired to this point. Triple A seems to be the best place for him.
  10. Why would they do a big trade giving up a bunch of young talent for a ONE and DONE playoff run? I'd be livid if they did this.
  11. Yeah I'd be interested in a trade that gets rid of Nolasco. As for the bullpen it needs help but its not like the Twins are going anywhere anyways. The move should have happened already if they were.
  12. Could be worse, the Twins could be run by the Phillies GM or Arizona's. Or old pal Bill Smith. That being said, the dude is old, has to be on his last few years.
  13. Because striking out is a non productive at bat. Those balls hit in play by player B might advance runners, knock in runs. True, they might hit into double plays on occasion but it's better to put the ball in play then to strikeout because anything can happen
  14. I was at the game tonight. 1st time in 2 years. Kinda frustrating they blew the rally but it was a pretty exciting game
  15. Well that's game folks. The way the starter is throwing, and the best bullpen in baseball. No chance.
  16. Yankees pitcher looks to be on his game today
  17. Lets not jinx the Twins, because they very well could get shutout.
  18. Knowing the Twins they will probably use him in mop up role for his first 10 appearances to prove himself and by the time they trust him, the season will be over. But yeah, he would make a 7th inning guy if he transitions well.
  19. I thought he looked safe, at least not enough to overturn it.
  20. Sano has to be striking out about 40% of the time now
  21. Ahh the double play. I knew that was the answer
  22. When facing a lefty pitcher, Rosario and Hicks need to be switched in the order
