One of the baseball writers I follow had an interesting take: Billionaire owners aren't trying to win, why would we expect low paid guys who aren't set for life to care all the time? Why do we hold them to a different standard? I'll duck now, and let the board rip that....

I'm guessing he won't play until the deadline (unless he's traded and plays for the new team). Just a guess. I wonder if that makes Columbe unusable also?

I'm no fan.....but there aren't many good lineups available right now, not with how they are hitting and with Buxton, Bader, and Jeffers out.....

It is fairly random. I've used penzey's mixes of various kinds (some more red spice based, some more white/yellow). I generally use paprika, salt and pepper, then add other things depending on mood. I have started with dried lemon peel a few times for fish and chicken. But I can't recall what I added. I'm more a seat of pants cooks (which is why I don't bake much).

Good question. I don't know. That said, Bellicheck sucked before Brady and after Brady, so I'm beginning to wonder if he's all that good....

No IL for Buck, just going to keep playing short handed, every year, year after year.

He does have a whopping 20 in CF! But, ya, I was led to believe it was a different split. 2nd or first if he can't throw.

Really? I could have sworn someone here said he'd been doing that! If not, I take it back. Bader is playing more than Larnach, and I'm assuming Bader is traded, but if Luke hasn't really played there, then I take it back.

Almost no one thinks the Twins can get two top 100 prospects for either RP. But I agree I don't like any of these deals for Ryan. -

He's played mostly second since Lewis returned. All over, but more second. I'm not sure why he can't hit this year..... But it's concerning.

Milwaukee traded Burnes and is still good. Losing a RP isn't going to doom this team to be uncompetitive, and if it does, then the team isn't all that good anyway. But I'd prefer they not deal any long term assets until the off season, unless they get a ridiculous offer.
