    Ya, taking 2 months off from playing 3B every day is not, imo, going to cripple his career. You might get 2-3 chances a game....

    I have mild doubts about him at SS......and Dozier is at 2B. Is he more valuable for the Twins as a trade piece, maybe for a catcher?

    Any LH with 3 legit pitches.....that guy is a top 10 prospect in any system. I expected a slow start in Ft Meyers, and by the end of the year for him to be good, but probably not great. Start next year there, and then move to AA after I whine for weeks that he should already be there.....

    If I read their comments one way....they are saying they like that a draftee has the confidence that comes from having relatives and experience with MLB...... I admit, I thought his hit tool would translate better than this, faster. I'm not even a bit worried, but I am surprised.

    What position is Levi playing now? and, man, I am pulling for Wimmers.

    Move Pelfrey to the bullpen. He is not signed for next year, he should be the odd man out. They need to really get more and more data on Milone, and they should give May every chance to succeed. OTOH, if they think they can win this year, then I don't know the answer.......but it isn't a 6 man rotation. They already have too many pitchers on the roster.

    Mauer is not going back to catcher. It. Is. Not. Happening. It's nice that you feel it is ok he takes on more brain injury risk......as if the only thing that matters is the number of years left on his contract.

    So how does he get better at hitting said curve balls, if he doesn't see said curve balls?

    there is only so much time in a day.....spend that working on your craft, or something no one cares about? Also, guys get hurt batting, why take that chance if you don't have to?

    They wouldn't need saving if he did his job more often.......finding a nut once every week or two, and not doing so most games, that's why they NEED the big hit, they have no margin for error because he and others just aren't that good right now.

    Kepler should be in AAA now. What could they be waiting for, exactly? "consistency"?

    Not to mention ..... the impending 40 man roster crunch. It's great to have lots of good prospects, but you can only protect 40 or them. Buxton, Rosario, Hicks, Arcia, Kepler are on the 40 man. I like Rosario, Buxton Kepler in the OF, with Kepler maybe playing some 1B. Arcia can DH or play RF sometimes. that's 4 OF right there.......Hicks and Kepler keep the guy up that actually produces, send the other to AAA.

    In no other sport do they even worry about. They are baseball games. We get to see a wider variety of teams and players. That is a good thing. They should rotate teams like the NFL. I don't know why anyone even thinks about as inter league anymore.

    I don't know if I'm right or not.....I hope not. It was fun watching gamecast, yes. I somehow managed to get a ton done at work today, like a scary amount of productivity. and, that was completely a princess bride reference, not an opinion at all.....
