The Rays trade guys for actual prospects, not a 26 yo in A ball with an 8 ERA......but then, they'd never sign a guy to a massive deal. I don't want the Rays, but I get others do. I'm not fully opposed to the CC trade! But w/o new owners, that money is not going back into the payroll, but the Pohlad's pockets.

ERod is never healthy and Jenkins isn't coming up to start next year. They also traded for two veteran OF, implying they don't agree those two are close to ready.... You can't just build a bullpen with one guy in it right now, or other teams wouldn't year for RPs all the time. Yes, you can squint and see a future..... But it's very high risk.

I can't see how Martin isn't on this roster with Castro and Bader gone. Well, I guess both Outman and Roden could be there, but who is your backup infielders then?

I can't see how they build a bullpen from scratch. They have zero dependable guys right now. Zero. I have no idea why they think Outman can be fixed after two years, but hey, I could be wrong. Roden? I can see that one working, but are these better than Larnach/Wallner/Bader were this year, most likely? I don't know.....they have no SS, 2B, C, 1B outside Lee (who I like more on the left side, but have doubts about) and Jeffers........I could see dealing some of the RPs, but not Duran, Jax, Varland, AND Stewart.

AS I said above, I have no idea what the bullpen looks like. Roster Resource just has a bunch of random names in it as far as I can tell :)

Abel going to AAA to start.....so not him. I think Martin is a lock and Sabato is more likely than McCusker, but I could be wrong.
