    Rumor has it either a college or HS guy did that a few years ago, can't recall who it was.... edit: wasn't a probable number 1, but it was a top pick, like top 5....I'll see if I can find it.

    I am all over Greene also, though if one of the college pitchers really takes over, that would be cool too. Kendall would have to seriously improve his contact skills for me. Also, since the Twins are unlikely to ever outbid someone for an ACE, I'm more for the ace. Kendall or another hitter would have to really stand out like Harper or Bryant.

    I agree, but they didn't need more yards, they just needed to run time (or burn NE timouts) and kick a FG....... Nothing against NE, truly one of the great QBs and coaches of all time.

    Well, it has come close to running it's course, with the current characters, sort of. Not too ominous, I'm just too cheap to pay now, and it will be free on Amazon in a few months.....

    so much for your geek card.....but ya, I really mostly watched all the way thru that last season out of a sense of hope and obligation, more than pure enjoyment. Vikings is so much better....

    Clearly this didn't happen fall of 2016.....but we just finished season 9 of Dr. Who. Worst. Story. Arc. Evar. He'd to all that for Clara, but not River? Seriously? Plus, most of the episodes were pretty meh, at best. Partly I think I don't love this iteration of the Dr, partly I just think they got off track in terms of good stories.

    If Chargois isn't on the roster, are they just punting on using any young RPs? That would make no sense to me at all. In fact, it would greatly disappoint me.

    I'm not convinced that deciding between mediocre RPs is really a make or break decision for Falvine, frankly. Me? I'd prefer more young guys getting shots. Their arms getting healthier..... I would also prefer Hughes back in the bullpen, unless there is a miracle and he can throw hard as a starter. I think Nick has it right, prediction wise.

    who, exactly, have they promoted too quickly that is a RP? And why do stupid teams like the Cardinals keep promoting young pitchers to be RPs?

    Uh, wth were the Atlanta coaches doing passing the ball late in the game? run on 2nd down. run on 3rd down. Kick FG, go up by 11.....I blame them for being stupid.

    10-15 years? No way. It didn't take CLE that long, since we know the tools didn't even exist then. This can show immediate payback.
