    It was really long, I wish I could remember it better. Or not, hard to say.

    Last night I had a very long and elaborate dream about Seth and Sano. There was a third story line, but as with most dreams, that had already faded. For some reason, I was a police officer. This is ridicoulos, but that was my role. For some reason, I kept reading Seth's big about food and baseball, but someone stuck me as weird. No one else was reading it, but Seth had lots of money. He spent a lot of time writing about Sano. I was suspicious, so I started looking into Sano. Turns out, he's actually from Alaska, and isn't Latin at all! Once I found that out, I traveled to Alaska and started interviewing over of Seth's friends that lived up there. Not only was Sano an eskimo, but he had killed someone and Seth had been blackmailing him! Weird dream.

    Oh, I think every team goes thru stuff like this. I mistook your post for something else.

    Can't fix the players, but it is possible to fix really bad management decisions. There also isn't really much to say about bad performances, is there? That said, when people do question the decisions of which players are here, you get about ten people saying the front office is great at their job.... So you may not want to go there anytime soon

    They aren't close to Houston or the dodgers in talent. Not close. They have a lot less room for error.

    Why do people keep typing that Tampa tanked? They unloaded an old, expensive player, and a pitcher, and one other player. They got some major league talent back, and expected three minor league pitchers to be available, including the top outcome prospect. They could not have forseen this many pricing injuries. As for getting swept, the pitching management was bad, but these are the players that he was given. He can't hit for them.

    How about catching? Maybe at least one third of the time? Where did I say DH?

    Garver was the prospect of the year here not long ago, not a flavor of the month. Not even close. As for Lamarre, I have no idea why you mentioned him on response to me. I've never asked for him to even be on the roster.

    There was no reason at all for Lynn to go back out there. Terrible decision. This is the Rodney they signed, don't know why anyone is surprised . Same with Duke and Reed. I agree with a poster above, they should call up Garver at some point and play him

    Two of hte best players in baseball, getting drooled over? Shocking! If Buxton or Berrios is ever that good, they'll get drooled over too.

    If you never take a pitcher because they might get hurt....good luck having pitchers. Or is that not the argument being made? Like, how did Strasburg work out so far? The Twins didn't get lucky, imo. Both players deserved to be a top pick. The Cubs did get unlucky theirs got hurt, though.

    People are convinced this is the real Joe Mauer, but not convinced this is the real Buxton? I think we need more than 10-15 games to know what either might be, but I could be wrong. Like it or not, the game is about more than just OBP. He plays (more accurately, how they expect him to play in the next year or two) first base, how he plays relative to: 1. Other options for the Twins 2. Other first basemen is how his future should be judged. IMO, we aren't enough games into this season to have any real idea yet.

    Minor league players already have a tough day. Little is gained from long games, I have no issue with the change at all. It literally hurts no one
